1Yo, Pablo, un siervo de Jesucristo, un apóstol por la selección de Dios, con autoridad como predicador del evangelio de Dios.
2Del cual Dios había dado palabra antes por medio de sus profetas en las Sagradas Escrituras,
3acerca de su Hijo quien, como hombre, vino de la familia de David,
4Pero fue marcado como Hijo de Dios en poder por el Espíritu de Santidad través de la Resurrección; Jesucristo nuestro Señor,
5Por medio de quien se nos ha dado la gracia, enviándonos a hacer discípulos de la fe entre todas las naciones, por amor a de su nombre;
6Entre los cuales, de la misma manera, han sido señalados como discípulos de Jesucristo.
7A todos los que están en Roma, amados por Dios, señalados como santos: Gracia y paz a ustedes de parte de Dios nuestro Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.
8Antes que nada, doy gracias a Dios mediante Jesucristo por todos ustedes, porque las noticias de su fe han llegado a todo el mundo.
9Porque Dios es mi testigo, cuyo siervo soy en espíritu en las buenas nuevas de su Hijo, que están en todo momento en mi memoria y en mis oraciones,
10Y que siempre hago oraciones para que Dios que, si es su voluntad me conceda que vaya por fin a visitarlos.
11Porque tengo gran deseo de verlos, y de impartir un don espiritual, para que estén más firmes;
12Es decir, que todos nosotros podamos ser consolados por la fe que ustedes y yo tenemos.
13Pueden estar seguros, mis hermanos, que con frecuencia he pensado en venir a ustedes (pero hasta ahora se me han presentado obstáculos ) para que yo tenga fruto espiritual entre ustedes, de la misma manera en que lo he tenido entre las otras naciones.
14Tengo una deuda con los griegos y no griegos; con los sabios y a aquellos que no tienen aprendizaje.
15En cuanto a mí, estoy ansioso, de anunciar el evangelio a ustedes que están en Roma.
16Porque no me avergüenzo del mensaje del evangelio, porque es el poder de Dios que da la salvación a todos los que tienen fe, primero al judío y luego al griego.
17Porque en él evangelio está la revelación de la justicia de Dios, por fe y para Fe; como está dicho en las Sagradas Escrituras, el hombre que hace justicia vivirá por su fe.
18Porque la ira de Dios se revela desde cielo contra todas las maldades y malos pensamientos de los hombres que impiden que se conozca la verdad por medio de la maldad;
19Porque lo que de Dios se conoce, ellos lo conocen muy bien, porque él mismo se lo ha mostrado.
20Porque desde la creación del mundo, aquellas cosas de Dios que el ojo no puede ver, es decir, su eterno poder y existencia, se aclaran por completo, habiendo dado su conocimiento a través de las cosas que él ha hecho, para que los hombres no tengan ninguna razón para hacer el mal:
21Porque, teniendo el conocimiento de Dios, no glorificaban a Dios como Dios, y ni le han dado gracias, sino que sus mentes estaban llenas de necedades, y sus corazones, estando sin Dios, fueron oscurecidos.
22Dicen que son sabios, en realidad fueron necios,
23Y cambiaron la gloria del Dios inmortal por imágenes del hombre mortal en imagen, de aves y bestias y reptiles.
24Por esta razón, Dios los entregó a los deseos malvados de sus corazones, deshonrando sus cuerpos unos con otros,
25Porque en lugar de la verdad de Dios, han buscado la mentira y adoraron y honraron a Lo Creado por Dios, y no a Dios mismo, a quien se bendice para siempre. Que así sea.
26Por esta razón, Dios los entregó a malas pasiones, y sus mujeres estaban cambiando la relación natural con un hombre, por relaciones del mismo sexo que van contra la naturaleza;
27Y de la misma manera los hombres renunciaron a las relaciones naturales con la mujer y arden en su deseo los unos por los otros, hombres con hombres, cometen acciones vergonzosas, y recibiendo en sus cuerpos el castigo de su perversidad.
28Y como no quisieron reconocer a Dios en su conocimiento, Dios los entregó a una mente malvada, para hacer aquellas cosas que no convienen;
29Están llenos de todo mal, injusticia, fornicación, perversidad, avaricia, maldad, Homicidios, pendencieros, odio, envidia, muerte, engaño, contiendas, chismosos;
30Murmuradores, detractores calumnian, aborrecedores de Dios, insolentes, vanidosos, llenos de orgullo, soberbios, sin respeto, inventan maldades, no honrando a padre o madre,
31Necios, no dignos de confianza, no cumplen su palabra, no saben perdonar, no sienten cariño por nadie, sin piedad:
32Quienes, aunque tienen el conocimiento de la ley de Dios, que el destino de aquellos que hacen estas cosas es la muerte, no solo continúan haciendo estas cosas, sino que dan su aprobación a quienes las hacen.

1PABLO, siervo de Jesucristo, llamado á ser apóstol, apartado para el evangelio de Dios,
2Que él había antes prometido por sus profetas en las santas Escrituras,
3Acerca de su Hijo, (que fué hecho de la simiente de David según la carne;
4El cual fué declarado Hijo de Dios con potencia, según el espíritu de santidad, por la resurrección de los muertos), de Jesucristo Señor nuestro,
5Por el cual recibimos la gracia y el apostolado, para la obediencia de la fe en todas las naciones en su nombre,
6Entre las cuales sois también vosotros, llamados de Jesucristo:
7A todos los que estáis en Roma, amados de Dios, llamados santos: Gracia y paz tengáis de Dios nuestro Padre, y del Señor Jesucristo.
8Primeramente, doy gracias á mi Dios por Jesucristo acerca de todos vosotros, de que vuestra fe es predicada en todo el mundo.
9Porque testigo me es Dios, al cual sirvo en mi espíritu en el evangelio de su Hijo, que sin cesar me acuerdo de vosotros siempre en mis oraciones,
10Rogando, si al fin algún tiempo haya de tener, por la voluntad de Dios, próspero viaje para ir á vosotros.
11Porque os deseo ver, para repartir con vosotros algún don espiritual, para confirmaros;
12Es á saber, para ser juntamente consolado con vosotros por la común fe vuestra y juntamente mía.
13Mas no quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis que muchas veces me he propuesto ir á vosotros (empero hasta ahora he sido estorbado), para tener también entre vosotros algún fruto, como entre los demás Gentiles.
14A Griegos y á bárbaros, á sabios y á no sabios soy deudor.
15Así que, cuanto á mí, presto estoy á anunciar el evangelio también á vosotros que estáis en Roma.
16Porque no me avergüenzo del evangelio: porque es potencia de Dios para salud á todo aquel que cree; al Judío primeramente y también al Griego.
17Porque en él la justicia de Dios se descubre de fe en fe; como está escrito: Mas el justo vivirá por la fe.
18Porque manifiesta es la ira de Dios del cielo contra toda impiedad é injusticia de los hombres, que detienen la verdad con injusticia:
19Porque lo que de Dios se conoce, á ellos es manifiesto; porque Dios se lo manifestó.
20Porque las cosas invisibles de él, su eterna potencia y divinidad, se echan de ver desde la creación del mundo, siendo entendidas por las cosas que son hechas; de modo que son inexcusables:
21Porque habiendo conocido á Dios, no le glorificaron como á Dios, ni dieron gracias; antes se desvanecieron en sus discursos, y el necio corazón de ellos fué entenebrecido.
22Diciéndose ser sabios, se hicieron fatuos,
23Y trocaron la gloria del Dios incorruptible en semejanza de imagen de hombre corruptible, y de aves, y de animales de cuatro pies, y de serpientes.
24Por lo cual también Dios los entregó á inmundicia, en las concupiscencias de sus corazones, de suerte que contaminaron sus cuerpos entre sí mismos:
25Los cuales mudaron la verdad de Dios en mentira, honrando y sirviendo á las criaturas antes que al Criador, el cual es bendito por los siglos. Amén.
26Por esto Dios los entregó á afectos vergonzosos; pues aun sus mujeres mudaron el natural uso en el uso que es contra naturaleza:
27Y del mismo modo también los hombres, dejando el uso natural de las mujeres, se encendieron en sus concupiscencias los unos con los otros, cometiendo cosas nefandas hombres con hombres, y recibiendo en sí mismos la recompensa que convino á su extravío.
28Y como á ellos no les pareció tener á Dios en su noticia, Dios los entregó á una mente depravada, para hacer lo que no conviene,
29Estando atestados de toda iniquidad, de fornicación, de malicia, de avaricia, de maldad; llenos de envidia, de homicidios, de contiendas, de engaños, de malignidades;
30Murmuradores, detractores, aborrecedores de Dios, injuriosos, soberbios, altivos, inventores de males, desobedientes á los padres,
31Necios, desleales, sin afecto natural, implacables, sin misericordia:
32Que, habiendo entendido el juicio de Dios que los que hacen tales cosas son dignos de muerte, no sólo las hacen, mas aun consienten á los que las hacen.

1Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
2(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
3Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
5By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
6Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
7To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
9For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
10Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
11For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
12That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
13Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
14I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
15So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

6among whom you are also called to belong to Jesus Christ;
7to all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, that your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world.
9For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the Good News of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you always in my prayers,
10requesting, if by any means now at last I may be prospered by the will of God to come to you.

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them.
20For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse.
21Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, four-footed animals, and creeping things.
24Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves;
25who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature.
27Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.
28Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
29being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,
30backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful;
32who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
