PAOLO, servo di Gesù Cristo, chiamato ad essere apostolo,

PABLO, siervo de Jesucristo, llamado á ser apóstol, apartado para el evangelio de Dios,

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

appartato per l'Evangelo di Dio, il quale egli avea innanzi promesso, per li suoi profeti, nelle scritture sante,

Que él había antes prometido por sus profetas en las santas Escrituras,

(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

which he promised before through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,

intorno al suo Figliuolo, Gesù Cristo, nostro Signore;

Acerca de su Hijo, (que fué hecho de la simiente de David según la carne;

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

concerning his Son, who was born of the offspring of David according to the flesh,

fatto del seme di Davide, secondo la carne; dichiarato Figliuol di Dio in potenza, secondo lo Spirito della santità, per la risurrezione da' morti;

El cual fué declarado Hijo de Dios con potencia, según el espíritu de santidad, por la resurrección de los muertos), de Jesucristo Señor nuestro,

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

who was declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,

per lo quale noi abbiam ricevuta grazia ed apostolato, all'ubbidienza di fede fra tutte le genti, per lo suo nome;

Por el cual recibimos la gracia y el apostolado, para la obediencia de la fe en todas las naciones en su nombre,

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

through whom we received grace and apostleship for obedience of faith among all the nations for his name’s sake;

fra le quali siete ancora voi, chiamati da Gesù Cristo;

Entre las cuales sois también vosotros, llamados de Jesucristo:

a voi tutti che siete in Roma, amati da Dio, santi chiamati: grazia, e pace da Dio, nostro Padre, e dal Signor Gesù Cristo.

A todos los que estáis en Roma, amados de Dios, llamados santos: Gracia y paz tengáis de Dios nuestro Padre, y del Señor Jesucristo.

To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

IMPRIMA io rendo grazie all'Iddio mio per Gesù Cristo, per tutti voi, che la vostra fede è pubblicata per tutto il mondo.

Primeramente, doy gracias á mi Dios por Jesucristo acerca de todos vosotros, de que vuestra fe es predicada en todo el mundo.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, that your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world.

Perciocchè Iddio, al quale io servo nello spirito mio, nell'evangelo del suo Figliuolo, mi è testimonio, ch'io non resto mai di far menzione di voi;

Porque testigo me es Dios, al cual sirvo en mi espíritu en el evangelio de su Hijo, que sin cesar me acuerdo de vosotros siempre en mis oraciones,

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the Good News of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you always in my prayers,

pregando del continuo nelle mie orazioni di poter venire a voi; se pure, per la volontà di Dio, in fine una volta mi sarà porta la comodità di fare il viaggio.

Rogando, si al fin algún tiempo haya de tener, por la voluntad de Dios, próspero viaje para ir á vosotros.

Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.

requesting, if by any means now at last I may be prospered by the will of God to come to you.

Perciocchè io desidero sommamente di vedervi, per comunicarvi alcun dono spirituale, acciocchè siate confermati.

Porque os deseo ver, para repartir con vosotros algún don espiritual, para confirmaros;

For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established;

E questo è, per esser congiuntamente consolato in voi, per la fede comune fra noi, vostra e mia.

Es á saber, para ser juntamente consolado con vosotros por la común fe vuestra y juntamente mía.

That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.

Ora, fratelli, io non voglio che ignoriate che molte volte io ho proposto di venire a voi, acciocchè io abbia alcun frutto fra voi, come ancora fra le altre genti; ma sono stato impedito infino ad ora.

Mas no quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis que muchas veces me he propuesto ir á vosotros (empero hasta ahora he sido estorbado), para tener también entre vosotros algún fruto, como entre los demás Gentiles.

Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

Now I don’t desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you (and was hindered so far), that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles.

Io son debitore a' Greci, ed ai Barbari; a' savi, ed a' pazzi.

A Griegos y á bárbaros, á sabios y á no sabios soy deudor.

I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

I am debtor both to Greeks and to foreigners, both to the wise and to the foolish.

Così, quant'è a me, io son pronto ad evangelizzare eziandio a voi che siete in Roma.

Así que, cuanto á mí, presto estoy á anunciar el evangelio también á vosotros que estáis en Roma.

So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

So as much as is in me, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.

PERCIOCCHÈ io non mi vergogno dell'evangelo di Cristo; poichè esso è la potenza di Dio in salute ad ogni credente; al Giudeo imprima, poi anche al Greco.

Porque no me avergüenzo del evangelio: porque es potencia de Dios para salud á todo aquel que cree; al Judío primeramente y también al Griego.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

Perciocchè la giustizia di Dio è rivelata in esso, di fede in fede; secondo ch'egli è scritto: E il giusto viverà per fede.

Porque en él la justicia de Dios se descubre de fe en fe; como está escrito: Mas el justo vivirá por la fe.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”

POICHÈ l'ira di Dio si palesa dal cielo sopra ogni empietà, ed ingiustizia degli uomini, i quali ritengono la verità in ingiustizia.

Porque manifiesta es la ira de Dios del cielo contra toda impiedad é injusticia de los hombres, que detienen la verdad con injusticia:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

Imperocchè, ciò che si può conoscer dì Dio è manifesto in loro, perciocchè Iddio l'ha manifestato loro.

Porque lo que de Dios se conoce, á ellos es manifiesto; porque Dios se lo manifestó.

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them.

Poichè le cose invisibili d'esso, la sua eterna potenza, e deità, essendo fin dalla creazion del mondo intese per le opere sue, si veggono chiaramente, talchè sono inescusabili.

Porque las cosas invisibles de él, su eterna potencia y divinidad, se echan de ver desde la creación del mundo, siendo entendidas por las cosas que son hechas; de modo que son inexcusables:

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse.

Perciocchè, avendo conosciuto Iddio, non però l'hanno glorificato, nè ringraziato, come Dio; anzi sono invaniti nei lor ragionamenti, e l'insensato lor cuore è stato intenebrato.

Porque habiendo conocido á Dios, no le glorificaron como á Dios, ni dieron gracias; antes se desvanecieron en sus discursos, y el necio corazón de ellos fué entenebrecido.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.

Dicendosi esser savi, son divenuti pazzi.

Diciéndose ser sabios, se hicieron fatuos,

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Ed hanno mutata la gloria dell'incorruttibile Iddio nella simiglianza dell'immagine dell'uomo corruttibile, e degli uccelli, e delle bestie a quattro piedi, e de' rettili.

Y trocaron la gloria del Dios incorruptible en semejanza de imagen de hombre corruptible, y de aves, y de animales de cuatro pies, y de serpientes.

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, four-footed animals, and creeping things.

Perciò ancora Iddio li ha abbandonati a bruttura, nelle concupiscenze de' lor cuori, da vituperare i corpi loro gli uni con gli altri.

Por lo cual también Dios los entregó á inmundicia, en las concupiscencias de sus corazones, de suerte que contaminaron sus cuerpos entre sí mismos:

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves;

Essi, che hanno mutata la verità di Dio in menzogna, ed hanno adorata e servita la creatura, lasciato il Creatore, che è benedetto in eterno. Amen.

Los cuales mudaron la verdad de Dios en mentira, honrando y sirviendo á las criaturas antes que al Criador, el cual es bendito por los siglos. Amén.

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Perciò, Iddio li ha abbandonati ad affetti infami; poichè anche le lor femmine hanno mutato l'uso naturale in quello che è contro a natura.

Por esto Dios los entregó á afectos vergonzosos; pues aun sus mujeres mudaron el natural uso en el uso que es contra naturaleza:

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature.

E simigliantemente i maschi, lasciato l'uso natural della femmina, si sono accesi nella lor libidine gli uni inverso gli altri, commettendo maschi con maschi la disonestà, ricevendo in loro stessi il pagamento del loro errore qual si conveniva.

Y del mismo modo también los hombres, dejando el uso natural de las mujeres, se encendieron en sus concupiscencias los unos con los otros, cometiendo cosas nefandas hombres con hombres, y recibiendo en sí mismos la recompensa que convino á su extravío.

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.

E, siccome non hanno fatta stima di riconoscere Iddio, così li ha Iddio abbandonati ad una mente reproba, da far le cose che non si convengono;

Y como á ellos no les pareció tener á Dios en su noticia, Dios los entregó á una mente depravada, para hacer lo que no conviene,

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

essendo ripieni d'ogni ingiustizia, di malvagità, di cupidigia, di malizia; pieni d'invidia, d'omicidio, di contesa, di frode, di malignità;

Estando atestados de toda iniquidad, de fornicación, de malicia, de avaricia, de maldad; llenos de envidia, de homicidios, de contiendas, de engaños, de malignidades;

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,

cavillatori, maldicenti, nemici di Dio, ingiuriosi, superbi, vanagloriosi, inventori di mali, disubbidienti a padri ed a madri;

Murmuradores, detractores, aborrecedores de Dios, injuriosos, soberbios, altivos, inventores de males, desobedientes á los padres,

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

insensati, senza fede ne' patti, senza affezion naturale, implacabili, spietati.

Necios, desleales, sin afecto natural, implacables, sin misericordia:

Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful;

I quali, avendo riconosciuto il diritto di Dio, che coloro che fanno cotali cose son degni di morte, non solo le fanno, ma ancora acconsentono a coloro che le commettono.

Que, habiendo entendido el juicio de Dios que los que hacen tales cosas son dignos de muerte, no sólo las hacen, mas aun consienten á los que las hacen.

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
