que Él prometió por medio de sus profetas en las Sagradas Escrituras

Porque anhelo verlos para impartirles algún don espiritual, a fin de que sean fortalecidos.

Porque no me avergüenzo de las Buenas Noticias, puesto que son poder de Dios para salvación a todo el que cree, primero al judío y luego al griego.

Pues en él se revela la justicia de Dios por fe y para fe, como está escrito: El justo vivirá por la fe.

La ira de Dios se revela desde el cielo contra toda impiedad e injusticia de los seres humanos que suprimen la verdad con injusticia.
Porque manifiesta es la ira de Dios del cielo contra toda impiedad é injusticia de los hombres, que detienen la verdad con injusticia:
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Porque lo que se conoce de Dios es evidente para ellos, puesto que Dios se lo manifestó.

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Porque desde la creación del mundo las cosas invisibles de Él, su eterno poder y deidad, se ven con claridad y se entienden por medio de las cosas hechas, de modo que no tienen excusa.

Aunque conocieron a Dios, no lo enaltecieron como Dios, ni le dieron gracias. Al contrario, se entregaron a vanos razonamientos y su necio corazón se oscureció.
Porque habiendo conocido á Dios, no le glorificaron como á Dios, ni dieron gracias; antes se desvanecieron en sus discursos, y el necio corazón de ellos fué entenebrecido.

y cambiaron la gloria del Dios incorruptible por imagen de hombre mortal, de aves, de cuadrúpedos y de reptiles.
Y trocaron la gloria del Dios incorruptible en semejanza de imagen de hombre corruptible, y de aves, y de animales de cuatro pies, y de serpientes.
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Por tanto Dios los entregó a la impureza en los apetitos desordenados de los deleites carnales de sus corazones, de modo que deshonraron sus propios cuerpos entre ellos.

Éstos cambiaron la verdad de Dios por la mentira, reverenciaron y sirvieron a la criatura y no al Creador, Quien es bendito por los siglos. Amén.
Los cuales mudaron la verdad de Dios en mentira, honrando y sirviendo á las criaturas antes que al Criador, el cual es bendito por los siglos. Amén.

Por esto Dios los entregó a pasiones vergonzosas, pues sus mujeres cambiaron su función natural por la que es contra naturaleza.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Del mismo modo también los varones, al dejar la relación natural con la mujer, se encendieron en deleites carnales unos con otros y cometieron hechos vergonzosos varones con varones. Recibieron en ellos mismos la debida retribución de su extravío.
Y del mismo modo también los hombres, dejando el uso natural de las mujeres, se encendieron en sus concupiscencias los unos con los otros, cometiendo cosas nefandas hombres con hombres, y recibiendo en sí mismos la recompensa que convino á su extravío.
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Como no quisieron tener en cuenta a Dios, Él los entregó a una mente reprobada para hacer las cosas indecentes.

Se llenaron con exceso de toda injusticia, perversidad, avaricia, maldad, envidia, homicidio, contienda, engaño y malignidad. Son chismosos,

necios, desleales, sin afecto natural, despiadados.

Ellos, aunque entendieron exactamente el Mandamiento de Dios, según el cual los que practican tales cosas son dignos de muerte, no solo las hacen, sino también se complacen con los que las practican.
Que, habiendo entendido el juicio de Dios que los que hacen tales cosas son dignos de muerte, no sólo las hacen, mas aun consienten á los que las hacen.
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
