Paulo, servo de Jesus Cristo, escolhido para ser apóstolo e enviado a pregar o evangelho de Deus.

PABLO, siervo de Jesucristo, llamado á ser apóstol, apartado para el evangelio de Dios,

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the Good News of God,

Este evangelho foi prometido há muito tempo pelos profetas nas Escrituras Sagradas.

Que él había antes prometido por sus profetas en las santas Escrituras,

(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

which he promised before through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,

É a boa-nova a respeito de seu Filho, que tomou a forma humana, tendo nascido da linhagem e da descendência de Davi,

Acerca de su Hijo, (que fué hecho de la simiente de David según la carne;

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

concerning his Son, who was born of the offspring of David according to the flesh,

e que mediante o Espírito de santidade foi declarado Filho de Deus com poder, ressurgindo dentre os mortos: Jesus Cristo, nosso Senhor.

El cual fué declarado Hijo de Dios con potencia, según el espíritu de santidad, por la resurrección de los muertos), de Jesucristo Señor nuestro,

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Agora, por meio dele, recebemos graça e apostolado para chamar entre as nações um povo para a obediência da fé.

Por el cual recibimos la gracia y el apostolado, para la obediencia de la fe en todas las naciones en su nombre,

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

E vocês também estão entre os chamados para pertencerem a Jesus Cristo.

Entre las cuales sois también vosotros, llamados de Jesucristo:

Por isso eu escrevo a todos os que estão em Roma, que ele ama com ternura: Vocês, de igual modo, são chamados por Jesus Cristo para pertencerem a Deus — sim, para fazerem parte de seu santo povo. Que todas as misericórdias e a paz divina sejam com vocês, vindas de Deus, nosso Pai, e de Jesus Cristo, nosso Senhor.

A todos los que estáis en Roma, amados de Dios, llamados santos: Gracia y paz tengáis de Dios nuestro Padre, y del Señor Jesucristo.

Em primeiro lugar, saibam que, por onde quer que eu vá, ouço a respeito de vocês! A fé que vocês têm em Deus está sendo conhecida por todo mundo. Quão grato sou a Deus, através de Jesus Cristo, por esta notícia tão boa e pelo que diz respeito a cada um de vocês.

Primeramente, doy gracias á mi Dios por Jesucristo acerca de todos vosotros, de que vuestra fe es predicada en todo el mundo.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

Deus é testemunha de quantas vezes me lembro de vocês. Dia e noite levo vocês e todas as suas necessidades em oração àquele a quem eu sirvo com todas as minhas forças, contando aos outros a boa-nova sobre o seu Filho.

Porque testigo me es Dios, al cual sirvo en mi espíritu en el evangelio de su Hijo, que sin cesar me acuerdo de vosotros siempre en mis oraciones,

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

E uma das coisas pelas quais continuo a orar é a oportunidade de eu finalmente ir vê-los, se Deus quiser, e, sendo possível, fazer uma boa viagem.

Rogando, si al fin algún tiempo haya de tener, por la voluntad de Dios, próspero viaje para ir á vosotros.

Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.

requesting, if by any means now at last I may be prospered by the will of God to come to you.

Quero muito vê-los, para que assim possa repartir com vocês algum dom espiritual para fortalecê-los,

Porque os deseo ver, para repartir con vosotros algún don espiritual, para confirmaros;

For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established;

quer dizer, para que eu e vocês sejamos animados mutuamente pela fé.

Es á saber, para ser juntamente consolado con vosotros por la común fe vuestra y juntamente mía.

That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.

Quero que vocês saibam, amados irmãos, que planejei ir aí muitas vezes antes disso, mas fui impedido, a fim de trabalhar entre vocês e obter bons resultados, como tenho conseguido entre outras igrejas de povos gentios.

Mas no quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis que muchas veces me he propuesto ir á vosotros (empero hasta ahora he sido estorbado), para tener también entre vosotros algún fruto, como entre los demás Gentiles.

Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

Now I don’t desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you (and was hindered so far), that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles.

Tenho uma grande dívida para com vocês e para com todos, tanto os povos civilizados como as nações pagãs; tanto para com pessoas cultas como incultas.

A Griegos y á bárbaros, á sabios y á no sabios soy deudor.

I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

I am debtor both to Greeks and to foreigners, both to the wise and to the foolish.

Portanto, também estou pronto a ir ver vocês em Roma para pregar o evangelho de Deus.

Así que, cuanto á mí, presto estoy á anunciar el evangelio también á vosotros que estáis en Roma.

So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

So as much as is in me, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.

Não estou envergonhado do evangelho a respeito de Cristo, porque é poder de Deus para a salvação de todo aquele que crê. Esta mensagem foi primeiramente pregada só aos judeus, mas agora também aos gregos.

Porque no me avergüenzo del evangelio: porque es potencia de Dios para salud á todo aquel que cree; al Judío primeramente y también al Griego.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

Esta boa-nova nos diz que o homem só pode ser justo diante de Deus através da fé, de fato, a justiça de Deus, do princípio ao fim é pela fé. Tal como a Escritura afirma: “O justo viverá por fé”.

Porque en él la justicia de Dios se descubre de fe en fe; como está escrito: Mas el justo vivirá por la fe.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”

Deus, entretanto, mostra do céu a sua ira contra todos os homens pecadores, maldosos, que repelem a verdade em troca da injustiça.

Porque manifiesta es la ira de Dios del cielo contra toda impiedad é injusticia de los hombres, que detienen la verdad con injusticia:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

Pois a verdade sobre Deus é revelada entre eles porque Deus a manifestou.

Porque lo que de Dios se conoce, á ellos es manifiesto; porque Dios se lo manifestó.

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them.

Desde a criação do mundo, as qualidades invisíveis de Deus, ou seja, o seu poder eterno e a sua natureza divina, são vistas pelos homens claramente. Elas podem ser compreendidas por meio das coisas criadas. Assim, eles não terão desculpa alguma.

Porque las cosas invisibles de él, su eterna potencia y divinidad, se echan de ver desde la creación del mundo, siendo entendidas por las cosas que son hechas; de modo que son inexcusables:

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse.

Sim, eles bem sabiam de Deus, mas não admitiram, nem o adoraram, nem mesmo agradeceram a ele. O resultado foi que suas mentes insensatas ficaram confusas e em trevas.

Porque habiendo conocido á Dios, no le glorificaron como á Dios, ni dieron gracias; antes se desvanecieron en sus discursos, y el necio corazón de ellos fué entenebrecido.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.

Dizendo-se sábios, tornaram-se completamente tolos.

Diciéndose ser sabios, se hicieron fatuos,

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

E então, em vez de adorarem ao Deus imortal, vivente, tomaram madeira e pedra e fizeram ídolos para si, esculpindo-os na forma de simples aves, animais, serpentes e homens mortais.

Y trocaron la gloria del Dios incorruptible en semejanza de imagen de hombre corruptible, y de aves, y de animales de cuatro pies, y de serpientes.

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, four-footed animals, and creeping things.

E assim Deus os entregou a toda espécie de pecados sexuais para que fizessem tudo de acordo com os desejos pecaminosos do seu coração, para terem relações vergonhosas uns com os outros.

Por lo cual también Dios los entregó á inmundicia, en las concupiscencias de sus corazones, de suerte que contaminaron sus cuerpos entre sí mismos:

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves;

Em vez de crerem naquilo que eles próprios sabiam ser a verdade sobre Deus, escolheram crer em mentiras. E assim adoraram e serviram as coisas criadas e seres criados, em lugar do Criador, que deve ser louvado para sempre. Amém.

Los cuales mudaron la verdad de Dios en mentira, honrando y sirviendo á las criaturas antes que al Criador, el cual es bendito por los siglos. Amén.

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Esta é a razão pela qual Deus os entregou a paixões pecaminosas, a tal ponto que até suas mulheres se voltaram contra o plano natural que Deus tinha para elas e cederam aos pecados sexuais entre elas mesmas.

Por esto Dios los entregó á afectos vergonzosos; pues aun sus mujeres mudaron el natural uso en el uso que es contra naturaleza:

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature.

E os homens, em vez de terem relações sexuais naturais cada qual com sua mulher, arderam em paixão uns pelos outros, homens praticando coisas vergonhosas com outros homens, e, como resultado disso, receberam o castigo merecido pela sua perversão.

Y del mismo modo también los hombres, dejando el uso natural de las mujeres, se encendieron en sus concupiscencias los unos con los otros, cometiendo cosas nefandas hombres con hombres, y recibiendo en sí mismos la recompensa que convino á su extravío.

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.

Assim, quando eles abandonaram a Deus e nem mesmo o reconheceram, Deus os deixou fazer tudo quanto suas mentes malignas poderiam imaginar.

Y como á ellos no les pareció tener á Dios en su noticia, Dios los entregó á una mente depravada, para hacer lo que no conviene,

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

Suas vidas ficaram cheias de toda espécie de maldade e pecado, ganância e ódio, inveja, homicídio, brigas, mentira, malícia e mexericos.

Estando atestados de toda iniquidad, de fornicación, de malicia, de avaricia, de maldad; llenos de envidia, de homicidios, de contiendas, de engaños, de malignidades;

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,

Falam mal uns dos outros com mentiras, estão cheios de ódio contra Deus, insolentes, orgulhosos, pensando sempre em novas maneiras de pecar, e são continuamente desobedientes a seus pais.

Murmuradores, detractores, aborrecedores de Dios, injuriosos, soberbios, altivos, inventores de males, desobedientes á los padres,

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

São insensatos, quebram suas promessas e tornaram-se criaturas sem amor pela família, sem nenhuma compaixão.

Necios, desleales, sin afecto natural, implacables, sin misericordia:

Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful;

São perfeitamente sabedores de que são dignos de morte todos que praticam tais coisas; contudo, continuam assim mesmo e as praticam de todas as maneiras, encorajando outros a agir do mesmo modo.

Que, habiendo entendido el juicio de Dios que los que hacen tales cosas son dignos de muerte, no sólo las hacen, mas aun consienten á los que las hacen.

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
