Pablo, esclavo de Jesús,, el Cristo, llamado a ser apóstol, apartado para el evangelio de Dios,

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

que él había prometido antes por sus profetas en las santas Escrituras,

(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

acerca de su Hijo, nuestro Señor Jesús, el Cristo, que era del linaje de David según la carne,

y por quien recibimos la gracia y el apostolado, para la obediencia a la fe en todas las naciones por amor de su nombre;

Primeramente doy gracias a mi Dios mediante Jesús, el Cristo «con respecto a todos» ustedes, de que su †de ustedes fe se divulga por todo el mundo.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

Porque testigo me es Dios, a quien sirvo en mi espíritu en el evangelio de su Hijo, de que sin cesar hago mención de ustedes siempre en mis oraciones,

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

rogando que de alguna manera «tenga al fin,» por la voluntad de Dios, un próspero viaje para ir a ustedes.

Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.

requesting, if by any means now at last I may be prospered by the will of God to come to you.

Porque deseo verles, para comunicarles algún don espiritual, a fin de que sean confirmados;

Porque os deseo ver, para repartir con vosotros algún don espiritual, para confirmaros;

For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

esto es, para ser mutuamente confortados por la fe que nos es común a ustedes y a mí.

Es á saber, para ser juntamente consolado con vosotros por la común fe vuestra y juntamente mía.

That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.

Pero no quiero, hermanos, que ignoren que muchas veces me he propuesto ir a ustedes (pero hasta ahora he sido estorbado), para tener también entre ustedes algún fruto, como entre los demás gentiles.

Mas no quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis que muchas veces me he propuesto ir á vosotros (empero hasta ahora he sido estorbado), para tener también entre vosotros algún fruto, como entre los demás Gentiles.

Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

Now I don’t desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you (and was hindered so far), that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles.

A griegos y a no griegos, a sabios y a no sabios soy deudor.

I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

I am debtor both to Greeks and to foreigners, both to the wise and to the foolish.

Así que, en cuanto a mí, pronto estoy a anunciarles el evangelio también a ustedes que están en Roma.

So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

So as much as is in me, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.

Porque no me avergüenzo del evangelio TM †de Cristo porque es poder de Dios para salvación a todo aquel que cree; al judío primeramente, y también al griego.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Porque en el evangelio la justicia de Dios se revela por fe y para fe, como está escrito: Mas el justo por la fe vivirá.

Porque en él la justicia de Dios se descubre de fe en fe; como está escrito: Mas el justo vivirá por la fe.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”

Porque la ira †furia de Dios se revela desde el cielo contra toda impiedad †falta de reverencia y respeto e injusticia de los hombres que detienen con injusticia la verdad;

Porque manifiesta es la ira de Dios del cielo contra toda impiedad é injusticia de los hombres, que detienen la verdad con injusticia:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

porque lo que de Dios se conoce les es manifiesto †dado a conocer, puesto que Dios se lo manifestó †dio a conocer.

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them.

Porque las cosas invisibles de él, su eterno poder y deidad, se hacen claramente visibles desde la creación del mundo, siendo entendidas por medio de las cosas hechas, de modo «que no tienen» excusa.

Porque las cosas invisibles de él, su eterna potencia y divinidad, se echan de ver desde la creación del mundo, siendo entendidas por las cosas que son hechas; de modo que son inexcusables:

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse.

Por lo tanto habiendo conocido a Dios, no le glorificaron como a Dios, ni le dieron gracias, sino que se envanecieron en sus razonamientos, y su necio †ignorante, imprudente, irracional corazón fue entenebrecido.

Porque habiendo conocido á Dios, no le glorificaron como á Dios, ni dieron gracias; antes se desvanecieron en sus discursos, y el necio corazón de ellos fué entenebrecido.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.

Profesando ser sabios, se hicieron necios †ignorantes, imprudentes, irracionales,

Diciéndose ser sabios, se hicieron fatuos,

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

y cambiaron la gloria del Dios incorruptible en semejanza de imagen de hombre corruptible, de aves, de cuadrúpedos y de reptiles.

Y trocaron la gloria del Dios incorruptible en semejanza de imagen de hombre corruptible, y de aves, y de animales de cuatro pies, y de serpientes.

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, four-footed animals, and creeping things.

Por lo cual también Dios los entregó a la inmundicia, en las concupiscencias †deseos pasionales desordenados de sus corazones, de modo que deshonraron entre sí sus propios cuerpos,

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

ya que cambiaron la verdad de Dios por la mentira, honrando y dando culto a las criaturas antes que al Creador, el cual es bendito por los siglos. Amén.

Los cuales mudaron la verdad de Dios en mentira, honrando y sirviendo á las criaturas antes que al Criador, el cual es bendito por los siglos. Amén.

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Por esto Dios los entregó a pasiones vergonzosas; puesto que aun sus mujeres cambiaron el uso natural por el que es contra naturaleza,

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature.

y de igual modo también los hombres, dejando el uso natural de la mujer, se encendieron en su lascivia †excitación, apetito desordenado por cosas carnales unos con otros, cometiendo hechos vergonzosos hombres con hombres, y recibiendo en sí mismos la retribución debida a su extravío.

Y del mismo modo también los hombres, dejando el uso natural de las mujeres, se encendieron en sus concupiscencias los unos con los otros, cometiendo cosas nefandas hombres con hombres, y recibiendo en sí mismos la recompensa que convino á su extravío.

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Y como ellos no aprobaron tener en cuenta a Dios, Dios los entregó a una mente reprobada, para hacer cosas que no convienen;

Y como á ellos no les pareció tener á Dios en su noticia, Dios los entregó á una mente depravada, para hacer lo que no conviene,

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

«estando atestados» de toda injusticia, fornicación †inmoralidad sexual, perversidad, avaricia, maldad; llenos de envidia, homicidios, contiendas, engaños y malignidades;

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,

murmuradores, detractores, «aborrecedores de Dios,» injuriosos, soberbios, altivos, inventores de males, desobedientes a los padres,

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

necios †ignorantes, imprudentes, irracionales, desleales, sin afecto natural, implacables, sin misericordia;

Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

quienes habiendo entendido el juicio de Dios, que los que practican tales cosas son dignos de muerte, no sólo las hacen, sino que también se complacen con los que las practican.

Que, habiendo entendido el juicio de Dios que los que hacen tales cosas son dignos de muerte, no sólo las hacen, mas aun consienten á los que las hacen.

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
