Paulus, Knecht Jesu Christi, berufener Apostel, ausgesondert zum Evangelium Gottes,

PABLO, siervo de Jesucristo, llamado á ser apóstol, apartado para el evangelio de Dios,

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

welches vorher verheißen wurde durch seine Propheten in heiligen Schriften,

Que él había antes prometido por sus profetas en las santas Escrituras,

(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

betreffs seines Sohnes, der hervorgegangen ist aus dem Samen Davids nach dem Fleisch

Acerca de su Hijo, (que fué hecho de la simiente de David según la carne;

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

concerning his Son, who was born of the offspring of David according to the flesh,

und erwiesen als Sohn Gottes in Kraft nach dem Geiste der Heiligkeit durch die Auferstehung von den Toten, Jesus Christus, unser Herr;

El cual fué declarado Hijo de Dios con potencia, según el espíritu de santidad, por la resurrección de los muertos), de Jesucristo Señor nuestro,

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

who was declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,

durch welchen wir Gnade und Apostelamt empfangen haben, um für seinen Namen Glaubensgehorsam †zu verlangen unter allen Völkern,

Por el cual recibimos la gracia y el apostolado, para la obediencia de la fe en todas las naciones en su nombre,

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

unter welchen auch ihr seid, Berufene Jesu Christi;

Entre las cuales sois también vosotros, llamados de Jesucristo:

allen zu Rom anwesenden Geliebten Gottes, den berufenen Heiligen: Gnade sei mit euch und Friede von Gott, unsrem Vater, und dem Herrn Jesus Christus!

A todos los que estáis en Roma, amados de Dios, llamados santos: Gracia y paz tengáis de Dios nuestro Padre, y del Señor Jesucristo.

To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Zuerst danke ich meinem Gott durch Jesus Christus für euch alle, daß euer Glaube in der ganzen Welt verkündigt wird.

Primeramente, doy gracias á mi Dios por Jesucristo acerca de todos vosotros, de que vuestra fe es predicada en todo el mundo.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

Denn Gott, welchem ich in meinem Geist diene am Evangelium seines Sohnes, ist mein Zeuge, wie unablässig ich euer gedenke,

Porque testigo me es Dios, al cual sirvo en mi espíritu en el evangelio de su Hijo, que sin cesar me acuerdo de vosotros siempre en mis oraciones,

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

indem ich allezeit in meinen Gebeten flehe, ob mir nicht endlich einmal durch den Willen Gottes das Glück zuteil werden möchte, zu euch zu kommen.

Rogando, si al fin algún tiempo haya de tener, por la voluntad de Dios, próspero viaje para ir á vosotros.

Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.

requesting, if by any means now at last I may be prospered by the will of God to come to you.

Denn mich verlangt darnach, euch zu sehen, um euch etwas geistliche Gabe mitzuteilen, damit ihr gestärkt werdet,

Porque os deseo ver, para repartir con vosotros algún don espiritual, para confirmaros;

For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established;

das heißt aber, daß ich mitgetröstet werde unter euch durch den gemeinschaftlichen Glauben, den euren und den meinen.

Es á saber, para ser juntamente consolado con vosotros por la común fe vuestra y juntamente mía.

That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.

Ich will euch aber nicht verschweigen, meine Brüder, daß ich mir schon oftmals vorgenommen habe, zu euch zu kommen (ich wurde aber verhindert bis jetzt), um auch unter euch etwas Frucht zu schaffen, gleichwie unter den übrigen Nationen;

Mas no quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis que muchas veces me he propuesto ir á vosotros (empero hasta ahora he sido estorbado), para tener también entre vosotros algún fruto, como entre los demás Gentiles.

Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

Now I don’t desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you (and was hindered so far), that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles.

denn ich bin ein Schuldner sowohl den Griechen als den Barbaren, sowohl den Weisen als den Unverständigen;

A Griegos y á bárbaros, á sabios y á no sabios soy deudor.

I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

I am debtor both to Greeks and to foreigners, both to the wise and to the foolish.

darum bin ich, soviel an mir liegt, bereit, auch euch in Rom das Evangelium zu verkündigen.

Así que, cuanto á mí, presto estoy á anunciar el evangelio también á vosotros que estáis en Roma.

So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

So as much as is in me, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.

Denn ich schäme mich des Evangeliums nicht; denn es ist Gottes Kraft zur Rettung für jeden, der glaubt, zuerst für den Juden, dann auch für den Griechen;

Porque no me avergüenzo del evangelio: porque es potencia de Dios para salud á todo aquel que cree; al Judío primeramente y también al Griego.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

denn es wird darin geoffenbart die Gerechtigkeit Gottes aus Glauben zum Glauben, wie geschrieben steht: «Der Gerechte wird infolge von Glauben leben».

Porque en él la justicia de Dios se descubre de fe en fe; como está escrito: Mas el justo vivirá por la fe.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”

Es offenbart sich nämlich Gottes Zorn vom Himmel her über alle Gottlosigkeit und Ungerechtigkeit der Menschen, welche die Wahrheit durch Ungerechtigkeit aufhalten,

Porque manifiesta es la ira de Dios del cielo contra toda impiedad é injusticia de los hombres, que detienen la verdad con injusticia:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

weil das von Gott Erkennbare unter ihnen offenbar ist, da Gott es ihnen geoffenbart hat;

Porque lo que de Dios se conoce, á ellos es manifiesto; porque Dios se lo manifestó.

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them.

denn sein unsichtbares Wesen, das ist seine ewige Kraft und Gottheit, wird seit Erschaffung der Welt an den Werken durch Nachdenken wahrgenommen, so daß sie keine Entschuldigung haben.

Porque las cosas invisibles de él, su eterna potencia y divinidad, se echan de ver desde la creación del mundo, siendo entendidas por las cosas que son hechas; de modo que son inexcusables:

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse.

Denn obschon sie Gott erkannten, haben sie ihn doch nicht als Gott gepriesen und ihm nicht gedankt, sondern sind in ihren Gedanken in eitlen Wahn verfallen, und ihr unverständiges Herz wurde verfinstert.

Porque habiendo conocido á Dios, no le glorificaron como á Dios, ni dieron gracias; antes se desvanecieron en sus discursos, y el necio corazón de ellos fué entenebrecido.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.

Da sie sich für weise hielten, sind sie zu Narren geworden

Diciéndose ser sabios, se hicieron fatuos,

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

und haben die Herrlichkeit des unvergänglichen Gottes vertauscht mit dem Bild vom vergänglichen Menschen, von Vögeln und vierfüßigen und kriechenden Tieren.

Y trocaron la gloria del Dios incorruptible en semejanza de imagen de hombre corruptible, y de aves, y de animales de cuatro pies, y de serpientes.

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, four-footed animals, and creeping things.

Darum hat sie auch Gott dahingegeben in die Gelüste ihrer Herzen, zur Unreinigkeit, daß sie ihre eigenen Leiber untereinander entehren,

Por lo cual también Dios los entregó á inmundicia, en las concupiscencias de sus corazones, de suerte que contaminaron sus cuerpos entre sí mismos:

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves;

sie, welche die Wahrheit Gottes mit der Lüge vertauschten und dem Geschöpf mehr Ehre und Dienst erwiesen als dem Schöpfer, der da gelobt ist in Ewigkeit. Amen!

Los cuales mudaron la verdad de Dios en mentira, honrando y sirviendo á las criaturas antes que al Criador, el cual es bendito por los siglos. Amén.

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Darum hat sie Gott auch dahingegeben in entehrende Leidenschaften. Denn ihre Frauen haben den natürlichen Gebrauch vertauscht mit dem widernatürlichen;

Por esto Dios los entregó á afectos vergonzosos; pues aun sus mujeres mudaron el natural uso en el uso que es contra naturaleza:

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature.

gleicherweise haben auch die Männer den natürlichen Verkehr mit der Frau verlassen und sind gegeneinander entbrannt in ihrer Begierde und haben Mann mit Mann Schande getrieben und den verdienten Lohn ihrer Verirrung an sich selbst empfangen.

Y del mismo modo también los hombres, dejando el uso natural de las mujeres, se encendieron en sus concupiscencias los unos con los otros, cometiendo cosas nefandas hombres con hombres, y recibiendo en sí mismos la recompensa que convino á su extravío.

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.

Und gleichwie sie Gott nicht der Anerkennung würdigten, hat Gott auch sie dahingegeben in unwürdigen Sinn, zu verüben, was sich nicht geziemt,

Y como á ellos no les pareció tener á Dios en su noticia, Dios los entregó á una mente depravada, para hacer lo que no conviene,

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

als solche, die voll sind von aller Ungerechtigkeit, Schlechtigkeit, Habsucht, Bosheit; voll Neid, Mordlust, Zank, Trug und Tücke,

Estando atestados de toda iniquidad, de fornicación, de malicia, de avaricia, de maldad; llenos de envidia, de homicidios, de contiendas, de engaños, de malignidades;

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers,

Ohrenbläser, Verleumder, Gottesverächter, Freche, Übermütige, Prahler, erfinderisch im Bösen, den Eltern ungehorsam;

Murmuradores, detractores, aborrecedores de Dios, injuriosos, soberbios, altivos, inventores de males, desobedientes á los padres,

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

unverständig, unbeständig, lieblos, unversöhnlich, unbarmherzig;

Necios, desleales, sin afecto natural, implacables, sin misericordia:

Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful;

welche, wiewohl sie das Urteil Gottes kennen, daß die, welche solches verüben, des Todes würdig sind, es nicht nur selbst tun, sondern auch Gefallen haben an denen, die es verüben.

Que, habiendo entendido el juicio de Dios que los que hacen tales cosas son dignos de muerte, no sólo las hacen, mas aun consienten á los que las hacen.

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
