Romanos 2

Así que no tienes ninguna razón, sea quien sea, para juzgar: porque al juzgar a otro te estás condenando a ti mismo, porque haces las mismas cosas.

POR lo cual eres inexcusable, oh hombre, cualquiera que juzgas: porque en lo que juzgas á otro, te condenas á ti mismo; porque lo mismo haces, tú que juzgas.

Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

Y somos conscientes de que Dios juzga de acuerdo a la verdad contra aquellos que hacen tales cosas.

Mas sabemos que el juicio de Dios es según verdad contra los que hacen tales cosas.

But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

We know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.

En cuanto a ti que estás juzgando a otro por hacer lo que haces tu mismo, no creas que vas a escapar de la condenación de Dios.

¿Y piensas esto, oh hombre, que juzgas á los que hacen tales cosas, y haces las mismas, que tú escaparás del juicio de Dios?

And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Do you think this, O man who judges those who practice such things, and do the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?

¿O no es nada para ti que Dios haya tenido compasión de ti, esperando y soportando por tanto tiempo, sin ver que en su compasión el deseo de Dios es darte arrepentimiento?

¿O menosprecias las riquezas de su benignidad, y paciencia, y longanimidad, ignorando que su benignidad te guía á arrepentimiento?

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

Pero con tu corazón duro y terco estás acumulando ira para ti en el día de la revelación del justo juicio de Dios;

Mas por tu dureza, y por tu corazón no arrepentido, atesoras para ti mismo ira para el día de la ira y de la manifestación del justo juicio de Dios;

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God,

que dará a cada hombre conforme a sus obras:

El cual pagará á cada uno conforme á sus obras:

Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

who “will pay back to everyone according to their works:”

a los que andan con buenas obras en la esperanza de la gloria y el honor e inmortalidad, les dará la vida eterna:

A los que perseverando en bien hacer, buscan gloria y honra é inmortalidad, la vida eterna.

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

to those who by perseverance in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life;

pero a los que, por amor a la rebeldía, no son guiados por la verdad y a favor de la maldad, vendrá ira y enojo,

Mas á los que son contenciosos, y no obedecen á la verdad, antes obedecen á la injusticia, enojo é ira;

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

but to those who are self-seeking and don’t obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath, indignation,

Tribulación y angustia en todo ser humano que hace lo malo, primero al judío y luego al griego;

Tribulación y angustia sobre toda persona humana que obra lo malo, el Judío primeramente, y también el Griego:

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

oppression, and anguish on every soul of man who does evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Pero la gloria, honra y paz para todos los que tienen obras buenas, primero para el judío y luego para el griego:

Mas gloria y honra y paz á cualquiera que obra el bien, al Judío primeramente, y también al Griego.

But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who does good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Porque un hombre no es diferente de otro delante de Dios.

Porque no hay acepción de personas para con Dios.

For there is no respect of persons with God.

For there is no partiality with God.

Todos los que han hecho mal sin la ley serán destruidos sin la ley; y los que han hecho mal en virtud de la ley tendrán su castigo por la ley;

Porque todos los que sin ley pecaron, sin ley también perecerán; y todos los que en la ley pecaron, por la ley serán juzgados:

For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

For as many as have sinned without the law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

Porque no son los oidores de la ley los que tienen justicia delante de Dios, sino sólo los hacedores:

Porque no los oidores de la ley son justos para con Dios, mas los hacedores de la ley serán justificados.

(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

For it isn’t the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified

Porque cuando los Gentiles sin la ley tienen un deseo natural de hacer las cosas en la ley, estos, aunque no tengan ley, son una ley para sí mismos;

Porque los Gentiles que no tienen ley, naturalmente haciendo lo que es de la ley, los tales, aunque no tengan ley, ellos son ley á sí mismos:

For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

(for when Gentiles who don’t have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves,

Porque el trabajo de la ley se ve en sus corazones, su sentido de lo correcto y lo incorrecto dando testimonio de ello, mientras que sus mentes los juzgan en un momento dado y en otro les dan aprobación;

Mostrando la obra de la ley escrita en sus corazones, dando testimonio juntamente sus conciencias, y acusándose y también excusándose sus pensamientos unos con otros;

Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying with them, and their thoughts among themselves accusing or else excusing them)

En el día en que Dios juzgará los secretos de los hombres, como dice el evangelio las cuales soy predicador, por medio de Jesucristo.

En el día que juzgará el Señor lo encubierto de los hombres, conforme á mi evangelio, por Jesucristo.

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

in the day when God will judge the secrets of men, according to my Good News, by Jesus Christ.

Pero en cuanto a ustedes que tienen el nombre de judíos, y descansan en la ley, y se enorgullecen de Dios,

He aquí, tú tienes el sobrenombre de Judío, y estás reposado en la ley, y te glorías en Dios,

Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,

Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, rest on the law, glory in God,

y conocen su voluntad, y son jueces de lo bueno y lo malo, teniendo el conocimiento de la ley.

Y sabes su voluntad, y apruebas lo mejor, instruído por la ley;

And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;

know his will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law,

En la creencia de que eres guía para los ciegos, una luz para los que están en la oscuridad,

Y confías que eres guía de los ciegos, luz de los que están en tinieblas,

And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,

and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,

Un instructor del necio, maestro de niños que tiene en la ley la forma de conocimiento y de la verdad;

Enseñador de los que no saben, maestro de niños, que tienes la forma de la ciencia y de la verdad en la ley:

An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of babies, having in the law the form of knowledge and of the truth.

Tú que das enseñanza a otros, ¿porque no te enseñas a ti mismo? tú que dices que un hombre no debe de robar, ¿por que robas ?

Tú pues, que enseñas á otro, ¿no te enseñas á ti mismo? ¿Tú, que predicas que no se ha de hurtar, hurtas?

Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

You therefore who teach another, don’t you teach yourself? You who preach that a man shouldn’t steal, do you steal?

Tú que dices que no se debe adulterar, ¿porque adúlteras? tú que odias las imágenes, ¿porque robas las riquezas de sus templos?

¿Tú, que dices que no se ha de adulterar, adulteras? ¿Tú, que abominas los ídolos, cometes sacrilegio?

Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

You who say a man shouldn’t commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

Tú que te enorgulleces de la ley, ¿con infracciones de la ley estas obrando mal en el honor de Dios?

¿Tú, que te jactas de la ley, con infracción de la ley deshonras á Dios?

Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

You who glory in the law, do you dishonor God by disobeying the law?

Porque el nombre de Dios es avergonzado entre los gentiles por causa de ustedes, como está dicho en las Sagradas Escrituras.

Porque el nombre de Dios es blasfemado por causa de vosotros entre los Gentiles, como está escrito.

For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” just as it is written.

Es cierto que la circuncisión es útil si se cumple la ley, pero si va en contra de la ley es como si no la tuvieses.

Porque la circuncisión en verdad aprovecha, si guardares la ley; mas si eres rebelde á la ley, tu circuncisión es hecha incircuncisión.

For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

For circumcision indeed profits, if you are a doer of the law, but if you are a transgressor of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.

Si los que no tienen circuncisión guardan las reglas de la ley, ¿no se les acreditará como circuncisión?

De manera que, si el incircunciso guardare las justicias de la ley, ¿no será tenida su incircuncisión por circuncisión?

Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

If therefore the uncircumcised keep the ordinances of the law, won’t his uncircumcision be accounted as circumcision?

Y ellos, por guardar la ley sin la circuncisión, los juzgarán a ustedes, por que la ley se rompe aunque hayan cumplido la letra de la ley siendo circuncidado.

Y lo que de su natural es incircunciso, guardando perfectamente la ley, te juzgará á ti, que con la letra y con la circuncisión eres rebelde á la ley.

And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

Won’t those who are physically uncircumcised, but fulfill the law, judge you, who with the letter and circumcision are a transgressor of the law?

El verdadero judío no es aquel que es exteriormente, y la circuncisión no es lo que se puede ver en la carne:

Porque no es Judío el que lo es en manifiesto; ni la circuncisión es la que es en manifiesto en la carne:

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh;

sino que es judío interiormente, cuya circuncisión es del corazón, en él espíritu, no depende de reglas escritas; cuya alabanza no es de los hombres, sino de Dios.

Mas es Judío el que lo es en lo interior; y la circuncisión es la del corazón, en espíritu, no en letra; la alabanza del cual no es de los hombres, sino de Dios.

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.
