Qual, pois, é a vantagem do judeu? Ou qual é a utilidade da circuncisão?
¿QUÉ, pues, tiene más el Judío? ¿ó qué aprovecha la circuncisión?
What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the profit of circumcision?
Muita, em toda maneira. Pois, em primeiro lugar, as palavras de Deus lhes foram confiadas.
Mucho en todas maneras. Lo primero ciertamente, que la palabra de Dios les ha sido confiada.
Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
Much in every way! Because first of all, they were entrusted with the revelations of God.
Então, quê? Se alguns foram infiéis, a infidelidade deles anulará a fidelidade de Deus?
¿Pues qué si algunos de ellos han sido incrédulos? ¿la incredulidad de ellos habrá hecho vana la verdad de Dios?
For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
For what if some were without faith? Will their lack of faith nullify the faithfulness of God?
De maneira nenhuma! Antes seja Deus verdadeiro, e todo ser humano mentiroso, como está escrito: “Para que sejas justificado em tuas palavras, e prevaleças quando julgares”.
En ninguna manera; antes bien sea Dios verdadero, mas todo hombre mentiroso; como está escrito: Para que seas justificado en tus dichos, y venzas cuando de ti se juzgare.
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written, “that you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment.”
E, se a nossa injustiça evidencia a justiça de Deus, que diremos? Acaso Deus é injusto em impor a sua ira? (Falo na lógica humana).
Y si nuestra iniquidad encarece la justicia de Dios, ¿qué diremos? ¿Será injusto Dios que da castigo? (hablo como hombre.)
But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what will we say? Is God unrighteous who inflicts wrath? I speak like men do.
De maneira nenhuma! De outro modo, como Deus julgará o mundo?
En ninguna manera: de otra suerte ¿cómo juzgaría Dios el mundo?
God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
May it never be! For then how will God judge the world?
Mas se, através da minha mentira, a verdade de Deus foi mais abundante para a sua glória, por que ainda sou também julgado como pecador?
Empero si la verdad de Dios por mi mentira creció á gloria suya, ¿por qué aun así yo soy juzgado como pecador?
For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
For if the truth of God through my lie abounded to his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?
E por que não dizer : “Façamos o mal, para que venha o bem”, como alguns nos caluniam, afirmando que nós dizemos isto? (A condenação destes é justa).
¿Y por qué no decir (como somos blasfemados, y como algunos dicen que nosotros decimos): Hagamos males para que vengan bienes? la condenación de los cuales es justa.
And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
Why not (as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say), “Let’s do evil, that good may come?” Those who say so are justly condemned.
Então, quê? Somos nós melhores? Não, de maneira nenhuma. Pois já delatamos que todos, tanto judeus como gregos, estão debaixo do pecado,
¿Qué pues? ¿Somos mejores que ellos? En ninguna manera: porque ya hemos acusado á Judíos y á Gentiles, que todos están debajo de pecado.
What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
What then? Are we better than they? No, in no way. For we previously warned both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.
como está escrito: Não há justo, nem um sequer.
Como está escrito: No hay justo, ni aun uno;
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
As it is written, “There is no one righteous; no, not one.
Ninguém há que entenda, ninguém há que busque a Deus.
No hay quien entienda, no hay quien busque á Dios;
There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God.
Todos se desviaram, e juntamente se tornaram inúteis. “Não há quem faça o bem, não há um sequer”.
Todos se apartaron, á una fueron hechos inútiles; no hay quien haga lo bueno, no hay ni aun uno:
They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
They have all turned away. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not so much as one.”
“Suas gargantas são sepulcro aberto; com suas línguas enganam”; “veneno de serpentes está sob seus lábios”.
Sepulcro abierto es su garganta; con sus lenguas tratan engañosamente; veneno de áspides está debajo de sus labios;
Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
“Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit.” “The poison of vipers is under their lips.”
“Suas bocas estão cheias de maldição e amargura”.
Cuya boca está llena de maledicencia y de amargura;
Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
“Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
“Seus pés são velozes para derramar sangue.
Sus pies son ligeros á derramar sangre;
Their feet are swift to shed blood:
“Their feet are swift to shed blood.
Destruição e miséria há em seus caminhos,
Quebrantamiento y desventura hay en sus caminos;
Destruction and misery are in their ways:
Destruction and misery are in their ways.
e não conheceram o caminho da paz”.
Y camino de paz no conocieron:
And the way of peace have they not known:
The way of peace, they haven’t known.”
“Diante dos seus olhos não há temor a Deus”.
No hay temor de Dios delante de sus ojos.
There is no fear of God before their eyes.
“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
Ora, sabemos que tudo o que a Lei diz, diz aos que estão na Lei, para que toda boca se cale, e todo o mundo seja condenável perante Deus.
Empero sabemos que todo lo que la ley dice, á los que están en la ley lo dice, para que toda boca se tape, y que todo el mundo se sujete á Dios:
Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.
Assim, ninguém será justificado diante dele pelas obras da Lei, porque o que vem pela Lei é o conhecimento do pecado.
Porque por las obras de la ley ninguna carne se justificará delante de él; porque por la ley es el conocimiento del pecado.
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
Mas agora, independentemente da Lei, a justiça de Deus se manifestou, tendo testemunho da Lei e dos Profetas;
Mas ahora, sin la ley, la justicia de Dios se ha manifestado, testificada por la ley y por los profetas:
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets;
isto é, a justiça de Deus por meio da fé em Jesus Cristo, para todos os que creem; pois não há diferença;
La justicia de Dios por la fe de Jesucristo, para todos los que creen en él; porque no hay diferencia;
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,
porque todos pecaram, e estão destituídos da glória de Deus;
Por cuanto todos pecaron, y están destituídos de la gloria de Dios;
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;
e são justificados gratuitamente pela sua graça, por meio da redenção que há em Cristo Jesus.
Siendo justificados gratuitamente por su gracia, por la redención que es en Cristo Jesús;
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Deus propôs Jesus por sacrifício de reconciliação, pela fé em seu sangue, para demonstrar a sua justiça. Ele deixou de considerar os pecados antes cometidos, sob a paciência de Deus,
Al cual Dios ha propuesto en propiciación por la fe en su sangre, para manifestación de su justicia, atento á haber pasado por alto, en su paciencia, los pecados pasados,
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God’s forbearance;
para demonstrar a sua justiça neste presente tempo, a fim de que ele seja justo, e justificador daquele que tem fé em Jesus.
Con la mira de manifestar su justicia en este tiempo: para que él sea el justo, y el que justifica al que es de la fe de Jesús.
To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
to demonstrate his righteousness at this present time, that he might himself be just and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.
Onde, pois, está o orgulho? Este é excluído. Por qual lei? A das obras? Não, mas sim, pela Lei da fé.
¿Dónde pues está la jactancia? Es excluída. ¿Por cuál ley? ¿de las obras? No; mas por la ley de la fe.
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Where then is the boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.
Concluímos, portanto, que o ser humano é justificado pela fé, independentemente das obras da Lei.
Así que, concluímos ser el hombre justificado por fe sin las obras de la ley.
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
Por acaso Deus é somente dos judeus, e não também dos gentios? Certamente que dos gentios também;
¿Es Dios solamente Dios de los Judíos? ¿No es también Dios de los Gentiles? Cierto, también de los Gentiles.
Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn’t he the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,
já que há um só Deus, que justificará pela fé os circuncisos, e por meio da fé os incircuncisos.
Porque uno es Dios, el cual justificará por la fe la circuncisión, y por medio de la fe la incircuncisión.
Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
since indeed there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.
Por acaso anulamos a Lei pela fé? De maneira nenhuma. Pelo contrário, confirmamos a Lei.
¿Luego deshacemos la ley por la fe? En ninguna manera; antes establecemos la ley.
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law.
