(según lo que está escrito: Te tengo constituido padre de muchas gentes), y que lo es delante de Dios, a quien ha creído, el cual da vida a los muertos, y llama, o da ser, a las cosas que no son, del mismo modo que conserva las que son.

(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
As it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations.” This is in the presence of him whom he believed: God, who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not, as though they were.
