Dem Werke Wirkenden (Verrichtenden) wird aber nicht der Lohn (die Bezahlung) zugerechnet nach Gnade, sondern nach geschuldeter Summe (aus Schuld, nach Pflicht).

Empero al que obra, no se le cuenta el salario por merced, sino por deuda.

Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as something owed.
