Or la legge è intervenuta affinché il fallo abbondasse; ma dove il peccato è abbondato, la grazia è sovrabbondata,

La ley empero entró para que el pecado creciese; mas cuando el pecado creció, sobrepujó la gracia;

Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

The law came in that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly,
