Es verdad que sobrevino la ley, y con ella se aumentó el pecado por haber sido desobedecida. Pero cuanto más abundó el pecado, tanto más ha sobreabundado la gracia,

La ley empero entró para que el pecado creciese; mas cuando el pecado creció, sobrepujó la gracia;

Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

The law came in that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly,
