CHE diremo adunque? rimarremo noi nel peccato, acciocchè la grazia abbondi?

¿PUES qué diremos? Perseveraremos en pecado para que la gracia crezca?

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

Così non sia: noi, che siam morti al peccato, come viveremo ancora in esso?

En ninguna manera. Porque los que somos muertos al pecado, ¿cómo viviremos aún en él?

God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?

Ignorate voi, che noi tutti, che siamo stati battezzati in Gesù Cristo, siamo stati battezzati nella sua morte?

¿O no sabéis que todos los que somos bautizados en Cristo Jesús, somos bautizados en su muerte?

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

Noi siamo adunque stati con lui seppelliti per lo battesimo, a morte; acciocchè, siccome Cristo è risuscitato da' morti per la gloria del Padre, noi ancora simigliantemente camminiamo in novità di vita.

Porque somos sepultados juntamente con él á muerte por el bautismo; para que como Cristo resucitó de los muertos por la gloria del Padre, así también nosotros andemos en novedad de vida.

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Perciocchè, se siamo stati innestati con Cristo alla conformità della sua morte, certo lo saremo ancora a quella della sua risurrezione.

Porque si fuimos plantados juntamente en él á la semejanza de su muerte, así también lo seremos á la de su resurrección:

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;

Sapendo questo: che il nostro vecchio uomo è stato con lui crocifisso, acciocchè il corpo del peccato sia annullato, affinchè noi non serviamo più al peccato.

Sabiendo esto, que nuestro viejo hombre juntamente fué crucificado con él, para que el cuerpo del pecado sea deshecho, á fin de que no sirvamos más al pecado.

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.

Poichè colui che è morto è sciolto dal peccato.

Porque el que es muerto, justificado es del pecado.

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

For he who has died has been freed from sin.

Ora, se siam morti con Cristo, noi crediamo che altresì viveremo con lui.

Y si morimos con Cristo, creemos que también viviremos con él;

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him,

Sapendo che Cristo, essendo risuscitato da' morti, non muore più; la morte non signoreggia più sopra lui.

Sabiendo que Cristo, habiendo resucitado de entre los muertos, ya no muere: la muerte no se enseñoreará más de él.

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over him!

Perciocchè, in quanto egli è morto, è morto al peccato una volta; ma in quanto egli vive, vive a Dio.

Porque el haber muerto, al pecado murió una vez; mas el vivir, á Dios vive.

For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God.

Così ancora voi reputate che ben siete morti al peccato; ma che vivete a Dio, in Cristo Gesù, nostro Signore.

Así también vosotros, pensad que de cierto estáis muertos al pecado, mas vivos á Dios en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro.

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Non regni adunque il peccato nel vostro corpo mortale, per ubbidirgli nelle sue concupiscenze.

No reine, pues, el pecado en vuestro cuerpo mortal, para que le obedezcáis en sus concupiscencias;

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Therefore don’t let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

E non prestate le vostre membra ad essere armi d'iniquità al peccato; anzi presentate voi stessi a Dio, come di morti fatti viventi; e le vostre membra ad essere armi di giustizia a Dio.

Ni tampoco presentéis vuestros miembros al pecado por instrumentos de iniquidad; antes presentaos á Dios como vivos de los muertos, y vuestros miembros á Dios por instrumentos de justicia.

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Also, do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

Perciocchè il peccato non vi signoreggerà; poichè non siete sotto la legge, ma sotto la grazia.

Porque el pecado no se enseñoreará de vosotros; pues no estáis bajo la ley, sino bajo la gracia.

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

For sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.

Che dunque? peccheremo noi, perciocchè non siamo sotto la legge, ma sotto la grazia? Così non sia.

¿Pues qué? ¿Pecaremos, porque no estamos bajo de la ley, sino bajo de la gracia? En ninguna manera.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be!

Non sapete voi, che a chiunque vi rendete servi per ubbidirgli, siete servi a colui a cui ubbidite, o di peccato a morte, o d'ubbidienza a giustizia?

¿No sabéis que á quien os prestáis vosotros mismos por siervos para obedecerle, sois siervos de aquel á quien obedecéis, ó del pecado para muerte, ó de la obediencia para justicia?

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Don’t you know that when you present yourselves as servants and obey someone, you are the servants of whomever you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?

Ora, ringraziato sia Iddio, ch'eravate servi del peccato; ma avete di cuore ubbidito alla forma della dottrina, nella quale siete stati tramutati.

Empero gracias á Dios, que aunque fuisteis siervos del pecado, habéis obedecido de corazón á aquella forma de doctrina á la cual sois entregados;

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

But thanks be to God that, whereas you were bondservants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered.

Ora, essendo stati francati dal peccato, voi siete stati fatti servi della giustizia.

Y libertados del pecado, sois hechos siervos de la justicia.

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Being made free from sin, you became bondservants of righteousness.

(Io parlo nella maniera degli uomini, per la debolezza della vostra carne.) Perciocchè, siccome già prestaste le vostre membra ad esser serve alla bruttura, ed all'iniquità, per commetter l'iniquità; così ora dovete prestare le vostre membra ad esser serve alla giustizia, a santificazione.

Humana cosa digo, por la flaqueza de vuestra carne: que como para iniquidad presentasteis vuestros miembros á servir á la inmundicia y á la iniquidad, así ahora para santidad presentéis vuestros miembros á servir á la justicia.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh; for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.

Perciocchè, allora che voi eravate servi del peccato, voi eravate franchi della giustizia.

Porque cuando fuisteis siervos del pecado, erais libres acerca de la justicia.

For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

For when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.

Qual frutto adunque avevate allora nelle cose, delle quali ora vi vergognate? poichè la fin d'esse è la morte.

¿Qué fruto, pues, teníais de aquellas cosas de las cuales ahora os avergonzáis? porque el fin de ellas es muerte.

What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

Ma ora, essendo stati francati dal peccato, e fatti servi a Dio, voi avete il vostro frutto a santificazione, ed alla fine vita eterna.

Mas ahora, librados del pecado, y hechos siervos á Dios, tenéis por vuestro fruto la santificación, y por fin la vida eterna.

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.

Perciocchè il salario del peccato è la morte, ma il dono di Dio è la vita eterna, in Cristo Gesù, nostro Signore.

Porque la paga del pecado es muerte: mas la dádiva de Dios es vida eterna en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
