Não sabeis que, assim como fomos batizados em Cristo Jesus, também fomos batizados em Sua morte?
¿O no sabéis que todos los que somos bautizados en Cristo Jesús, somos bautizados en su muerte?
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Portanto, fomos sepultados com Ele através do batismo na morte. Isso aconteceu para que, como Cristo foi ressuscitado dentre os mortos pela glória do Pai, assim nós também possamos andar em novidade de vida.
Porque somos sepultados juntamente con él á muerte por el bautismo; para que como Cristo resucitó de los muertos por la gloria del Padre, así también nosotros andemos en novedad de vida.
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Porque, se temos nos tornado unidos com Ele na semelhança da Sua morte, também estaremos unidos, com Sua ressurreição.
Porque si fuimos plantados juntamente en él á la semejanza de su muerte, así también lo seremos á la de su resurrección:

Nós sabemos isto: que nosso velho homem foi crucificado com Ele, para que o corpo do pecado seja destruído. Isso aconteceu a fim de não sermos mais escravizados pelo pecado.
Sabiendo esto, que nuestro viejo hombre juntamente fué crucificado con él, para que el cuerpo del pecado sea deshecho, á fin de que no sirvamos más al pecado.
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Sabemos que Cristo foi ressuscitado dentre os mortos e que não está mais morto. A morte não tem mais domínio sobre Ele.
Sabiendo que Cristo, habiendo resucitado de entre los muertos, ya no muere: la muerte no se enseñoreará más de él.
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over him!
Pois, quanto a ter morrido pelo pecado, Ele morreu de uma vez por todas. Contudo a vida que Ele vive, vive para Deus.

For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Não permitais que o pecado vos domine, porque não estais debaixo da Lei, mas debaixo da graça.

E então? Devemos pecar porque não estamos debaixo da Lei, mas debaixo da graça? Nunca!
¿Pues qué? ¿Pecaremos, porque no estamos bajo de la ley, sino bajo de la gracia? En ninguna manera.
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be!
Não sabeis que a quem vós mesmos vos apresentais como servos é a quem sois obedientes e a quem deveis obedecer? A verdade é esta: ou sois servos do pecado que leva à morte, ou servos da obediência que leva à justificação.
¿No sabéis que á quien os prestáis vosotros mismos por siervos para obedecerle, sois siervos de aquel á quien obedecéis, ó del pecado para muerte, ó de la obediencia para justicia?
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Don’t you know that when you present yourselves as servants and obey someone, you are the servants of whomever you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
Mas graças a Deus! Pois fostes servos do pecado, no entanto tendes obedecido de coração ao padrão de doutrina que vos foi dado.
Empero gracias á Dios, que aunque fuisteis siervos del pecado, habéis obedecido de corazón á aquella forma de doctrina á la cual sois entregados;
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Visto que, quando éreis escravos do pecado, estáveis livres da justiça.

Naquele tempo, que fruto, então, tivestes das coisas das quais agora estais envergonhados? Porque o fim dessas coisas é a morte.

What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

Mas agora, que fostes libertos do pecado e feitos escravos de Deus, tendes o vosso fruto para santificação, e o resultado é a vida eterna.
Mas ahora, librados del pecado, y hechos siervos á Dios, tenéis por vuestro fruto la santificación, y por fin la vida eterna.
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Pois o salário do pecado é a morte, mas o dom gratuito de Deus é a vida eterna em Cristo Jesus, nosso Senhor.
Porque la paga del pecado es muerte: mas la dádiva de Dios es vida eterna en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
