Porque somos sepultados juntamente con él para muerte por el bautismo, a fin de que como Cristo resucitó de los muertos por la gloria del Padre, así también nosotros andemos en vida nueva.

Porque si fuimos plantados juntamente con él en la semejanza de su muerte, «así también» lo seremos en la de su resurrección;

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Also, do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
Porque el pecado no se enseñoreará de ustedes; puesto que no están bajo la ley, sino bajo la gracia.

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

¿No saben que si se someten a alguien como esclavos para obedecerle, son esclavos de aquel a quien obedecen, sea del pecado para muerte, «o sea» de la obediencia para justicia?
¿No sabéis que á quien os prestáis vosotros mismos por siervos para obedecerle, sois siervos de aquel á quien obedecéis, ó del pecado para muerte, ó de la obediencia para justicia?
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Don’t you know that when you present yourselves as servants and obey someone, you are the servants of whomever you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
Pero gracias a Dios, que aunque eran esclavos del pecado, han obedecido de corazón a aquella forma de doctrina a la cual fueron entregados;
Empero gracias á Dios, que aunque fuisteis siervos del pecado, habéis obedecido de corazón á aquella forma de doctrina á la cual sois entregados;
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
But thanks be to God that, whereas you were bondservants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered.

Hablo como humano, por su de ustedes humana debilidad; que así como para iniquidad maldad grande, gran injusticia, perversidad extrema presentaron sus de ustedes miembros para servir a la inmundicia y a la iniquidad, así ahora para santificación presenten sus de ustedes miembros para servir a la justicia.
Humana cosa digo, por la flaqueza de vuestra carne: que como para iniquidad presentasteis vuestros miembros á servir á la inmundicia y á la iniquidad, así ahora para santidad presentéis vuestros miembros á servir á la justicia.
I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh; for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.
Porque cuando eran esclavos del pecado, eran libres acerca de la justicia.
Porque cuando fuisteis siervos del pecado, erais libres acerca de la justicia.
For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
For when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.
¿Pero qué fruto tenían de «aquellas cosas» de las cuales ahora se avergüenzan? Porque el fin de ellas es muerte.
¿Qué fruto, pues, teníais de aquellas cosas de las cuales ahora os avergonzáis? porque el fin de ellas es muerte.
What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
Mas ahora que han sido libertados del pecado y hechos esclavos de Dios, tienen por su de ustedes fruto la santificación, y como fin, la vida eterna.
Mas ahora, librados del pecado, y hechos siervos á Dios, tenéis por vuestro fruto la santificación, y por fin la vida eterna.
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.
Porque la paga del pecado es muerte, mas la dádiva de Dios es vida eterna en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
