Wisst ihr etwa nicht, Brüder, denn ich rede mit den Gesetz kundigen, dass das Gesetz den Menschen beherrscht, solange (für so viel Zeit) er lebt ?

¿IGNORÁIS, hermanos, (porque hablo con los que saben la ley) que la ley se enseñorea del hombre entre tanto que vive?

Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

Or don’t you know, brothers (for I speak to men who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man for as long as he lives?
