Jetzt aber sind wir von dem Gesetz losgemacht, da wir dem gestorben sind, in dem wir festgehalten wurden, so dass wir dienen in dem Neuen des Geistes und nicht in dem Alten des Buchstabens.

Mas ahora estamos libres de la ley, habiendo muerto á aquella en la cual estábamos detenidos, para que sirvamos en novedad de espíritu, y no en vejez de letra.

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that in which we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.
