Die Sünde aber, durch das Gebot Anlaß nehmend, bewirkte jede Lust in mir; denn ohne Gesetz ist die Sünde tot.

Mas el pecado, tomando ocasión, obró en mí por el mandamiento toda concupiscencia: porque sin la ley el pecado está muerto.

But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

But sin, finding occasion through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the law, sin is dead.
