Die Sünde {aber}, wobei sie durch das Gebot die Gelegenheit ergriffen hatte, rief in mir jede Lust hervor. Denn abseits †des Gesetzes †ist die Sünde tot.

Mas el pecado, tomando ocasión, obró en mí por el mandamiento toda concupiscencia: porque sin la ley el pecado está muerto.

But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

But sin, finding occasion through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the law, sin is dead.
