Weil die Schöpfung der Nichtigkeit unterworfen ward, nicht aus eigener Wahl, sondern von Dem, Der sie derselben unterwarf, auf Hoffnung;

For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
