Ainsi donc, il fait miséricorde à qui il veut et il endurcit qui il veut.

De manera que del que quiere tiene misericordia; y al que quiere, endurece.

Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

So then, he has mercy on whom he desires, and he hardens whom he desires.
