Nun hatte Naemi einen Verwandten ihres Mannes, der war ein sehr vermöglicher Mann vom Geschlecht Elimelechs, namens Boas.

Y TENÍA Noemi un pariente de su marido, varón poderoso y de hecho, de la familia de Elimelech, el cual se llamaba Booz.

And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband’s, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.

Naomi had a relative of her husband’s, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech, and his name was Boaz.

Ruth aber, die Moabiterin, sprach zu Naemi: Ich will doch aufs Feld hinausgehen und Ähren auflesen bei dem, vor welchem ich Gnade finde!

Y Ruth la Moabita dijo á Noemi: Ruégote que me dejes ir al campo, y cogeré espigas en pos de aquel á cuyos ojos hallare gracia. Y ella le respondió: Ve, hija mía.

And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.

Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, “Let me now go to the field, and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I find favor.” She said to her, “Go, my daughter.”

Sie ging hin, kam und las Ähren auf dem Felde hinter den Schnittern her. Es traf sich aber, daß jenes Stück Feld dem Boas gehörte, der vom Geschlechte Elimelechs war.

Fué pues, y llegando, espigó en el campo en pos de los segadores: y aconteció por ventura, que la suerte del campo era de Booz, el cual era de la parentela de Elimelech.

And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.

Und siehe, Boas kam von Bethlehem her und sprach zu den Schnittern: Der HERR sei mit euch! Sie antworteten ihm: Der HERR segne dich!

Y he aquí que Booz vino de Beth-lehem, y dijo á los segadores: Jehová sea con vosotros. Y ellos respondieron: Jehová te bendiga.

And, behold, Boaz came from Beth-lehem, and said unto the reapers, The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee.

Behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said to the reapers, “May the LORD be with you.” They answered him, “May the LORD bless you.”

Und Boas fragte seinen Knaben, der über die Schnitter bestellt war: Wem gehört diese Jungfrau?

Y Booz dijo á su criado el sobrestante de los segadores: ¿Cúya es esta moza?

Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?

Then Boaz said to his servant who was set over the reapers, “Whose young lady is this?”

Der Knabe, der über die Schnitter bestellt war, antwortete und sprach: Das ist die moabitische Jungfrau, die mit Naemi aus dem Lande der Moabiter zurückgekommen ist.

Y el criado, sobrestante de los segadores, respondió y dijo: Es la moza de Moab, que volvió con Noemi de los campos de Moab;

And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:

The servant who was set over the reapers answered, “It is the Moabite lady who came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab.

Sie hat gesagt: Laß mich doch auflesen und sammeln zwischen den Garben hinter den Schnittern her! Und sie kam und blieb vom Morgen an bis jetzt; sie bleibt nicht lange zu Hause sitzen!

Y ha dicho: Ruégote que me dejes coger y juntar tras los segadores entre las gavillas: entró pues, y está desde por la mañana hasta ahora, menos un poco que se detuvo en casa.

And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.

She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves.’ So she came, and has continued even from the morning until now, except that she rested a little in the house.”

Da sprach Boas zu Ruth: Hörst du wohl, meine Tochter? Du sollst auf keinen andern Acker gehen, um aufzulesen; und begib dich auch nicht weg von hier, sondern halte dich da zu meinen Jungfrauen.

Entonces Booz dijo á Ruth: Oye, hija mía, no vayas á espigar á otro campo, ni pases de aquí: y aquí estarás con mis mozas.

Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:

Then Boaz said to Ruth, “Listen, my daughter. Don’t go to glean in another field, and don’t go from here, but stay here close to my maidens.

Dein Auge sei auf das Feld gerichtet, wo sie schneiden! Habe ich nicht meinen Knaben geboten, daß dich niemand anrühre? Und wenn dich dürstet, so geh hin zu den Gefäßen und trinke von dem, was meine Knaben schöpfen!

Mira bien al campo que segaren, y síguelas: porque yo he mandado á los mozos que no te toquen. Y si tuvieres sed, ve á los vasos, y bebe del agua que sacaren los mozos.

Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.

Let your eyes be on the field that they reap, and go after them. Haven’t I commanded the young men not to touch you? When you are thirsty, go to the vessels, and drink from that which the young men have drawn.”

Da fiel sie auf ihr Angesicht und neigte sich zur Erde und sprach: Warum habe ich vor deinen Augen Gnade gefunden, daß du dich um mich kümmerst, die ich doch fremd bin?

Ella entonces bajando su rostro inclinóse á tierra, y díjole: ¿Por qué he hallado gracia en tus ojos para que tú me reconozcas, siendo yo extranjera?

Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?

Then she fell on her face and bowed herself to the ground, and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your sight, that you should take knowledge of me, since I am a foreigner?”

Boas antwortete und sprach zu ihr: Es ist mir alles angezeigt worden, was du nach deines Mannes Tod an deiner Schwiegermutter getan hast, wie du deinen Vater und deine Mutter und dein Vaterland verlassen hast und zu einem Volke gezogen bist, das du zuvor nicht kanntest.

Y respondiendo Booz, díjole: Por cierto se me ha declarado todo lo que has hecho con tu suegra después de la muerte de tu marido, y que dejando á tu padre y á tu madre y la tierra donde naciste, has venido á pueblo que no conociste antes.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz answered her, “I have been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father, your mother, and the land of your birth, and have come to a people that you didn’t know before.

Der HERR vergelte dir deine Tat, und dein Lohn müsse vollkommen sein von dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, zu welchem du gekommen bist, um unter seinen Flügeln Zuflucht zu nehmen!

Jehová galardone tu obra, y tu remuneración sea llena por Jehová Dios de Israel, que has venido para cubrirte debajo de sus alas.

The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

May the LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given to you from the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”

Sie sprach: Mein Herr, laß mich Gnade finden vor deinen Augen; denn du hast mich getröstet und deiner Magd freundlich zugesprochen, da ich doch nicht wie eine deiner Mägde bin!

Y ella dijo: Señor mío, halle yo gracia delante de tus ojos; porque me has consolado, y porque has hablado al corazón de tu sierva, no siendo yo como una de tus criadas.

Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.

Then she said, “Let me find favor in your sight, my lord, because you have comforted me, and because you have spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not as one of your servants.”

Und zur Essenszeit sprach Boas zu ihr: Komm her und iß von dem Brot und tunke deinen Bissen in den Essig! Und sie setzte sich zur Seite der Schnitter. Er aber gab ihr geröstetes Korn, und sie aß und ward satt und ließ übrig.

Y Booz le dijo á la hora de comer: Allégate aquí, y come del pan, y moja tu bocado en el vinagre. Y sentóse ella junto á los segadores, y él le dió del potaje, y comió hasta que se hartó y le sobró.

And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.

At meal time Boaz said to her, “Come here, and eat some bread, and dip your morsel in the vinegar.” She sat beside the reapers, and they passed her parched grain. She ate, was satisfied, and left some of it.

Und als sie wieder aufstand, um Ähren zu lesen, gebot Boas seinen Knaben und sprach: Laßt sie auch zwischen den Garben auflesen und schmähet sie nicht!

Levantóse luego para espigar. Y Booz mandó á sus criados, diciendo: Coja también espigas entre las gavillas, y no la avergoncéis;

And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:

When she had risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, “Let her glean even among the sheaves, and don’t reproach her.

Laßt auch mit Fleiß etwas von den Garben für sie fallen und laßt es liegen, daß sie es auflese, und niemand schelte sie deshalb!

Antes echaréis á sabiendas de los manojos, y la dejaréis que coja, y no la reprendáis.

And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not.

Also pull out some for her from the bundles, and leave it. Let her glean, and don’t rebuke her.”

Also las sie auf dem Felde bis zum Abend und klopfte aus, was sie aufgelesen hatte; und es war etwa ein Epha Gerste.

Y espigó en el campo hasta la tarde, y desgranó lo que había cogido, y fué como un epha de cebada.

So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley.

Und sie trug es in die Stadt und zeigte ihrer Schwiegermutter, was sie aufgelesen hatte; dazu zog sie hervor und gab ihr, was sie übriggelassen hatte, nachdem sie satt geworden.

Y tomólo, y vínose á la ciudad; y su suegra vió lo que había cogido. Sacó también luego lo que le había sobrado después de harta, y dióselo.

And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed.

She took it up, and went into the city. Then her mother-in-law saw what she had gleaned; and she brought out and gave to her that which she had left after she had enough.

Da sprach ihre Schwiegermutter zu ihr: Wo hast du heute aufgelesen, und wo hast du gearbeitet? Gesegnet sei, der sich um dich gekümmert hat! Da sagte sie ihrer Schwiegermutter, bei wem sie gearbeitet hatte, und sprach: Der Mann, bei dem ich heute gearbeitet habe, heißt Boas! Naemi sprach zu ihrer Sohnsfrau:

Y díjole su suegra: ¿Dónde has espigado hoy? ¿y dónde has trabajado? bendito sea el que te ha reconocido. Y ella declaró á su suegra lo que le había acontecido con aquél, y dijo: El nombre del varón con quien hoy he trabajado es Booz.

And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man’s name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz.

Her mother-in-law said to her, “Where have you gleaned today? Where have you worked? Blessed be he who noticed you.” She told her mother-in-law with whom she had worked, “The man’s name with whom I worked today is Boaz.”

Gesegnet sei er vom HERRN, daß er seine Gnade den Lebendigen und den Toten nicht entzogen hat! Weiter sprach Naemi zu ihr: Der Mann ist uns nah verwandt, er gehört zu unsern Lösern. Ruth, die Moabiterin, sprach:

Y dijo Noemi á su nuera: Sea él bendito de Jehová, pues que no ha rehusado á los vivos la benevolencia que tuvo para con los finados. Díjole después Noemi: Nuestro pariente es aquel varón, y de nuestros redentores es.

And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen.

Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, “May he be blessed by the LORD, who has not abandoned his kindness to the living and to the dead.” Naomi said to her, “The man is a close relative to us, one of our near kinsmen.”

Er sagte auch das zu mir: Du sollst dich zu meinen Knaben halten, bis sie die ganze Ernte beendigt haben!

Y Ruth Moabita dijo: A más de esto me ha dicho: Júntate con mis criados, hasta que hayan acabado toda mi siega.

And Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest.

Ruth the Moabitess said, “Yes, he said to me, ‘You shall stay close to my young men until they have finished all my harvest.’”

Naemi sprach zu ihrer Sohnsfrau Ruth: Es ist gut, meine Tochter, wenn du mit seinen Jungfrauen ausgehst und man dich nicht auf einem andern Acker antrifft!

Y Noemi respondió á Ruth su nuera: Mejor es, hija mía, que salgas con sus criadas, que no que te encuentren en otro campo.

And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field.

Naomi said to Ruth her daughter-in-law, “It is good, my daughter, that you go out with his maidens, and that they not harm you in any other field.”

Also hielt sie sich bei der Ährenlese zu des Boas Jungfrauen, bis die Gersten-und Weizenernte vollendet war; darnach blieb sie bei ihrer Schwiegermutter.

Estuvo pues junta con las mozas de Booz espigando, hasta que la siega de las cebadas y la de los trigos fué acabada; mas con su suegra habitó.

So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law.

So she stayed close to the maidens of Boaz, to glean to the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and she lived with her mother-in-law.
