†Eines Tages sprach Noomi, ihre Schwiegermutter, zu ihr: „Meine Tochter, will ich nicht für dich Ruhe (eine Heimstatt) suchen, damit (wo) es dir gut geht?

Y DÍJOLE su suegra Noemi: Hija mía, ¿no te tengo de buscar descanso, que te sea bueno?

Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee?

Naomi her mother-in-law said to her, “My daughter, shall I not seek rest for you, that it may be well with you?

Und weiter: Ist nicht Boas, bei dessen Mägden du warst, unser Verwandter (ist nicht Boas unser Verwandter, bei dessen Mägden du warst)? Siehe, dieser wird heute Nacht Gerste auf der Gerstentenne worfeln.

¿No es Booz nuestro pariente, con cuyas mozas tú has estado? He aquí que él avienta esta noche la parva de las cebadas.

And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor.

Now isn’t Boaz our kinsman, with whose maidens you were? Behold, he will be winnowing barley tonight on the threshing floor.

†Daher wasche dich, salbe dich, wirf deine Kleider (dein Kleid) um dich (zieh deine Kleider/dein Kleid an) und geh zur Tenne hinab! Lass dich †aber nicht von dem Mann (von niemandem) erkennen, bis er mit Essen und Trinken fertig ist!

Te lavarás pues, y te ungirás, y vistiéndote tus vestidos, pasarás á la era; mas no te darás á conocer al varón hasta que él haya acabado de comer y de beber.

Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.

Therefore wash yourself, anoint yourself, get dressed, and go down to the threshing floor; but don’t make yourself known to the man until he has finished eating and drinking.

Und es soll sein, wenn er sich legt: (Wenn er sich legt,) merke dir den Ort, wo er liegt (wohin er sich legt), gehe, entblöße seine Beine (seine Scham?, decke den Ort seiner Beine auf? Entblöße dich zu seinen Füßen?) und lege dich. Er wird dir dann erzählen, was du tun sollst (musst).“

Y cuando él se acostare, repara tú el lugar donde él se acostará, é irás, y descubrirás los pies, y te acostarás allí; y él te dirá lo que hayas de hacer.

And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do.

It shall be, when he lies down, that you shall note the place where he is lying. Then you shall go in, uncover his feet, and lie down. Then he will tell you what to do.”

Da antwortete sie ihr: „Alles, was du (†mir) sagst (je sagen wirst), will ich tun.“

Y le respondió: Haré todo lo que tú me mandares.

And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do.

She said to her, “All that you say, I will do.”

Sie ging also hinab zur Tenne und befolgte alles, was ihr die Schwiegermutter geboten hatte:

Descendió pues á la era, é hizo todo lo que su suegra le había mandado.

And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in law bade her.

She went down to the threshing floor, and did everything that her mother-in-law told her.

Boas aß, trank, sein Herz wurde fröhlich, er kam, um sich am Fuß des Getreidehaufens zu legen; sie kam im Geheimen (sie schlich sich zu ihm), entblößte seine Beine und legte sich.

Y como Booz hubo comido y bebido, y su corazón estuvo contento, retiróse á dormir á un lado del montón. Entonces ella vino calladamente, y descubrió los pies, y acostóse.

And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of corn: and she came softly, and uncovered his feet, and laid her down.

When Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of grain. She came softly, uncovered his feet, and lay down.

{Und es war} um Mitternacht zitterte der Mann, tastete †um sich (sah sich um) und, siehe da! - eine Frau lag †an (†bei) seinen Beinen!

Y aconteció, que á la media noche se estremeció aquel hombre, y palpó: y he aquí, la mujer que estaba acostada á sus pies.

And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.

At midnight, the man was startled and turned himself; and behold, a woman lay at his feet.

Er fragte: „Wer bist du?“ Sie antwortete: „Ich bin Rut, deine Magd - daher breite deinen Gewandzipfel (deine Decke, deine Flügel) über deine Magd, denn du bist Goel!“

Entonces él dijo: ¿Quién eres? Y ella respondió: Yo soy Ruth tu sierva: extiende el borde de tu capa sobre tu sierva, por cuanto eres pariente cercano.

And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman.

He said, “Who are you?” She answered, “I am Ruth your servant. Therefore spread the corner of your garment over your servant; for you are a near kinsman.”

Da sagte er: „Gesegnet †seist du von JHWH, meine Tochter! Denn deine spätere Güte hast du besser getan (deine spätere gute Tat ist noch besser) als deine vorige, nicht den jungen Männern nachgelaufen zu sein (indem du nicht den jungen Männern nachgelaufen bist) - egal, ob arm oder reich.

Y él dijo: Bendita seas tú de Jehová, hija mía; que has hecho mejor tu postrera gracia que la primera, no yendo tras los mancebos, sean pobres ó ricos.

And he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.

He said, “You are blessed by the LORD, my daughter. You have shown more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, because you didn’t follow young men, whether poor or rich.

Nun denn, meine Tochter: Fürchte dich nicht - alles, was du sagst (je sagen wirst), will ich für dich tun, denn es weiß das ganze Tor meines Volkes (mein ganzes Volk), dass du eine fähige Frau bist.

Ahora pues, no temas, hija mía: yo haré contigo lo que tú dijeres, pues que toda la puerta de mi pueblo sabe que eres mujer virtuosa.

And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.

Now, my daughter, don’t be afraid. I will do to you all that you say; for all the city of my people knows that you are a worthy woman.

Nun denn... - Ach, †wäre das wahr! Ach, wenn ich doch Löser †wäre! Jedoch es gibt (ihr habt) einen Löser, †der euch näher †verwandt ist als ich (es gibt einen näheren Löser als mich).

Y ahora, aunque es cierto que yo soy pariente cercano, con todo eso hay pariente más cercano que yo.

And now it is true that I am thy near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.

Now it is true that I am a near kinsman. However, there is a kinsman nearer than I.

Bleibe diese Nacht †hier, und wenn er dich am Morgen lösen wird - schön! Dann soll er dich lösen! Doch wenn er †dann keine Lust hat, dich zu lösen - dann werde ich dich lösen, †so wahr Gott lebt! Liege bis zum Morgen!“

Reposa esta noche, y cuando sea de día, si él te redimiere, bien, redímate; mas si él no te quisiere redimir, yo te redimiré, vive Jehová. Descansa pues hasta la mañana.

Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman’s part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning.

Stay this night, and in the morning, if he will perform for you the part of a kinsman, good. Let him do the kinsman’s duty. But if he will not do the duty of a kinsman for you, then I will do the duty of a kinsman for you, as the LORD lives. Lie down until the morning.”

Und sie lag †an (bei) seinen Beinen (†an seinem Bein) bis zum Morgen. †Doch noch bevor ein Mann seinen Nächsten (bevor man einander, bevor einer den andern) erkennen konnte, stand sie auf.Er sagte †sich: „Es soll nicht bekannt sein, dass die Frau zur Tenne gekommen ist!“

Y después que reposó á sus pies hasta la mañana, levantóse, antes que nadie pudiese conocer á otro. Y él dijo: No se sepa que haya venido mujer á la era.

And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor.

She lay at his feet until the morning, then she rose up before one could discern another. For he said, “Let it not be known that the woman came to the threshing floor.”

†Daher sagte er: „Gib den (deinen) Mantel, der um dich †ist (den du an hast), und halte ihn †gut fest!“ Also hielt sie ihn †fest und er maß ihr sechs der Gerste †hinein, lud ihn ihr auf und kam zur Stadt (und sie kam zur Stadt)

Después le dijo: Llega el lienzo que traes sobre ti, y ten de él. Y teniéndolo ella, él midió seis medidas de cebada, y púsoselas á cuestas: y vínose ella á la ciudad.

Also he said, Bring the vail that thou hast upon thee, and hold it. And when she held it, he measured six measures of barley, and laid it on her: and she went into the city.

He said, “Bring the mantle that is on you, and hold it.” She held it; and he measured six measures of barley, and laid it on her; then he went into the city.

Und sie kam zur Schwiegermutter, und †diese fragte: „Wie ist es gelaufen, meine Tochter? (Als was/Wie/Was †bist du, meine Tochter?, Wer bist du - meine Tochter?)“ Da berichtete sie ihr alles, was ihr der Mann getan hatte.

Así que vino á su suegra, ésta le dijo: ¿Qué pues, hija mía? Y declaróle ella todo lo que con aquel varón le había acontecido.

And when she came to her mother in law, she said, Who art thou, my daughter? And she told her all that the man had done to her.

When she came to her mother-in-law, she said, “How did it go, my daughter?” She told her all that the man had done for her.

Und sie sagte: ''Diese sechs der Gerste'' hat er mir gegeben, denn er hat (†zu mir) gesagt: „Du darfst nicht leer zur Schwiegermutter kommen!“

Y dijo: Estas seis medidas de cebada me dió, diciéndome: Porque no vayas vacía á tu suegra.

And she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law.

She said, “He gave me these six measures of barley; for he said, ‘Don’t go empty to your mother-in-law.’”

Da sagte sie: „Warte ab, meine Tochter, bis du weißt, wie die Sache ausfallen wird. Denn der Mann wird nich ruhen bis er †noch heute die Sache beendet hat.“

Entonces Noemi dijo: Reposa, hija mía, hasta que sepas cómo cae la cosa: porque aquel hombre no parará hasta que hoy concluya el negocio.

Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.

Then she said, “Wait, my daughter, until you know what will happen; for the man will not rest until he has settled this today.”
