Et Boaz monta à la porte †de la ville, et s'y assit, et voici celui qui avait le droit de rachat, dont Boaz avait parlé, vint à passer. Et Boaz lui dit : Toi, un tel, détourne-toi et assieds-toi ici. Et il se détourna et s'assit.

Y BOOZ subió á la puerta y sentóse allí: y he aquí pasaba aquel pariente del cual había Booz hablado, y díjole: Eh, fulano, ven acá y siéntate. Y él vino, y sentóse.

Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.

Now Boaz went up to the gate and sat down there. Behold, the near kinsman of whom Boaz spoke came by. Boaz said to him, “Come over here, friend, and sit down!” He came over, and sat down.

Et Boaz prit dix hommes d'entre les Anciens de la ville et leur dit : Asseyez-vous ici. Et ils s'assirent.

Entonces él tomó diez varones de los ancianos de la ciudad, y dijo: Sentaos aquí. Y ellos se sentaron.

And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down.

Boaz took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, “Sit down here,” and they sat down.

Et il dit à celui qui avait le droit de rachat : Noomi, qui est revenue de la campagne de Moab, a vendu la portion de champ qui appartenait à Elimélec, notre frère.

Luego dijo al pariente: Noemi, que ha vuelto del campo de Moab, vende una parte de las tierras que tuvo nuestro hermano Elimelech;

And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech’s:

He said to the near kinsman, “Naomi, who has come back out of the country of Moab, is selling the parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech’s.

Et j'ai dit : Je veux t'en informer et te dire : Achète-la, en présence de ceux qui sont assis là et des Anciens de mon peuple. Si tu veux la racheter, rachète-la ; que si tu ne veux pas la racheter, déclare-le moi, afin que je le sache, car il n'y en a point d'autre avant toi qui ait le droit de rachat, et moi je viens après toi. Et il dit : Je rachèterai.

Y yo decidí hacértelo saber, y decirte que la tomes delante de los que están aquí sentados, y delante de los ancianos de mi pueblo. Si hubieres de redimir, redime; y si no quisieres redimir, decláramelo para que yo lo sepa: porque no hay otro que redima sino tú, y yo después de ti. Y él respondió: Yo redimiré.

And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it.

I thought I should tell you, saying, ‘Buy it before those who sit here, and before the elders of my people.’ If you will redeem it, redeem it; but if you will not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know. For there is no one to redeem it besides you; and I am after you.” He said, “I will redeem it.”

Et Boaz dit : Au jour où tu acquerras le champ de la main de Noomi, tu l'acquerras en même temps de Ruth, la Moabite, femme du défunt, pour faire revivre le nom du défunt dans son héritage.

Entonces replicó Booz: El mismo día que tomares las tierras de mano de Noemi, has de tomar también á Ruth Moabita, mujer del difunto, para que suscites el nombre del muerto sobre su posesión.

Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Then Boaz said, “On the day you buy the field from the hand of Naomi, you must buy it also from Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead on his inheritance.”

Et celui qui avait le droit de rachat dit : Je ne puis pas le racheter ; je ferais tort à mon héritage. Prends pour toi mon droit de rachat, car moi, je ne puis racheter.

Y respondió el pariente: No puedo redimir por mi parte, porque echaría á perder mi heredad: redime tú usando de mi derecho, porque yo no podré redimir.

And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.

The near kinsman said, “I can’t redeem it for myself, lest I endanger my own inheritance. Take my right of redemption for yourself; for I can’t redeem it.”

Et c'était autrefois la coutume en Israël, en cas de rachat et d'échange, pour valider toute affaire, que l'homme ôtait son soulier et le donnait à l'autre ; c'était le mode d'attestation en Israël.

Había ya de largo tiempo esta costumbre en Israel en la redención ó contrato, que para la confirmación de cualquier negocio, el uno se quitaba el zapato y lo daba á su compañero: y este era el testimonio en Israel.

Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.

Now this was the custom in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning exchanging, to confirm all things: a man took off his sandal, and gave it to his neighbor; and this was the way of formalizing transactions in Israel.

Et celui qui avait le droit de rachat dit à Boaz : Acquiers pour ton compte ! Et il ôta son soulier.

Entonces el pariente dijo á Booz: Tómalo tú. Y descalzó su zapato.

Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe.

So the near kinsman said to Boaz, “Buy it for yourself,” then he took off his sandal.

Et Boaz dit aux Anciens et à tout le peuple : Vous êtes témoins aujourd'hui que j'ai acquis tout ce qui appartenait à Elimélec et tout ce qui était à Kiljon et à Machlon, de la main de Noomi ;

Y Booz dijo á los ancianos y á todo el pueblo: Vosotros sois hoy testigos de que tomo todas las cosas que fueron de Elimelech, y todo lo que fué de Chelión y de Mahalón, de mano de Noemi;

And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.

Boaz said to the elders and to all the people, “You are witnesses today, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, from the hand of Naomi.

et que je me suis acquis en même temps pour femme Ruth la Moabite, femme de Machlon, pour faire revivre le nom du défunt dans son héritage, afin que le nom du défunt ne soit point retranché d'entre ses frères et de la porte de son lieu. Vous en êtes témoins aujourd'hui.

Y que también tomo por mi mujer á Ruth Moabita, mujer de Mahalón, para suscitar el nombre del difunto sobre su heredad, para que el nombre del muerto no se borre de entre sus hermanos y de la puerta de su lugar. Vosotros sois hoy testigos.

Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.

Moreover, Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, I have purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead on his inheritance, that the name of the dead may not be cut off from among his brothers and from the gate of his place. You are witnesses today.”

Et tout le peuple qui était à la porte et tous les Anciens dirent : Nous en sommes témoins ! Que l'Eternel rende la femme qui entre dans ta maison semblable à Rachel et à Léa, qui ont toutes deux fondé la maison d'Israël. Et déploie ta force à Ephratha, et †puisses-tu donner un nom †à un fils à Bethléem.

Y dijeron todos los del pueblo que estaban á la puerta con los ancianos: Testigos somos. Jehová haga á la mujer que entra en tu casa como á Rachêl y á Lea, las cuales dos edificaron la casa de Israel; y tú seas ilustre en Ephrata, y tengas nombradía en Beth-lehem;

And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Beth-lehem:

All the people who were in the gate, and the elders, said, “We are witnesses. May the LORD make the woman who has come into your house like Rachel and like Leah, which both built the house of Israel; and treat you worthily in Ephrathah, and be famous in Bethlehem.

Et que ta maison soit comme la maison de Pérets, que Thamar enfanta à Juda, par la postérité que l'Eternel te donnera de cette jeune femme.

Y de la simiente que Jehová te diere de aquesta moza, sea tu casa como la casa de Phares, al que parió Thamar á Judá.

And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.

Let your house be like the house of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah, of the offspring which the LORD will give you by this young woman.”

Et Boaz prit Ruth, et elle fut sa femme. Et il alla vers elle, et l'Eternel lui donna de concevoir, et elle enfanta un fils.

Booz pues tomó á Ruth, y ella fué su mujer; y luego que entró á ella, Jehová le dió que concibiese y pariese un hijo.

So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.

So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and he went in to her, and the LORD enabled her to conceive, and she bore a son.

Et les femmes dirent à Noomi : Béni soit l'Eternel qui ne t'a point laissée manquer aujourd'hui d'un libérateur ! Que son nom devienne célèbre en Israël !

Y las mujeres decían á Noemi: Loado sea Jehová, que hizo que no te faltase hoy pariente, cuyo nombre será nombrado en Israel.

And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.

The women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the LORD, who has not left you today without a near kinsman. Let his name be famous in Israel.

Il restaurera ton âme et il sera le soutien de ta vieillesse, car ta belle-fille qui t'aime, l'a enfanté, elle qui vaut mieux pour toi que sept fils.

El cual será restaurador de tu alma, y el que sustentará tu vejez; pues que tu nuera, la cual te ama y te vale más que siete hijos, le ha parido.

And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.

He shall be to you a restorer of life and sustain you in your old age; for your daughter-in-law, who loves you, who is better to you than seven sons, has given birth to him.”

Et Noomi prit l'enfant et le mit sur son sein, et elle fut sa garde.

Y tomando Noemi el hijo, púsolo en su regazo, y fuéle su ama.

And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.

Naomi took the child, laid him in her bosom, and became nurse to him.

Et les voisines lui donnèrent un nom en disant : Un fils est né à Noomi ! Et elles l'appelèrent Obed ; ce fut le père d'Isaï, père de David.

Y las vecinas diciendo, A Noemi ha nacido un hijo, le pusieron nombre; y llamáronle Obed. Este es padre de Isaí, padre de David.

And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.

The women, her neighbors, gave him a name, saying, “A son is born to Naomi”. They named him Obed. He is the father of Jesse, the father of David.

Et voici la postérité de Pérets : Pérets engendra Hetsron ;

Y estas son las generaciones de Phares: Phares engendró á Hesrón;

Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron,

Now this is the history of the generations of Perez: Perez became the father of Hezron,

et Hetsron engendra Ram, et Ram engendra Amminadab ;

Y Hesrón engendró á Ram, y Ram engendró á Aminadab;

And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab,

and Hezron became the father of Ram, and Ram became the father of Amminadab,

et Amminadab engendra Nahason, et Nahason engendra Salmon ;

Y Aminadab engendró á Nahasón, y Nahasón engendró á Salmón;

And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon,

and Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon became the father of Salmon,

et Salmon engendra Boaz, et Boaz engendra Obed ;

Y Salmón engendró á Booz, y Booz engendró á Obed;

And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,

and Salmon became the father of Boaz, and Boaz became the father of Obed,

et Obed engendra Isaï, et Isaï engendra David.

Y Obed engendró á Isaí, é Isaí engendró á David.

And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.

and Obed became the father of Jesse, and Jesse became the father of David.
