Und Boas ging zum Tore hinauf und setzte sich daselbst. Und siehe, der Blutsverwandte ging vorüber, von dem Boas geredet hatte. Da sprach er: Komm her, setze dich hierher, du, der und der. Und er kam herzu und setzte sich.

Y BOOZ subió á la puerta y sentóse allí: y he aquí pasaba aquel pariente del cual había Booz hablado, y díjole: Eh, fulano, ven acá y siéntate. Y él vino, y sentóse.

Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.

Now Boaz went up to the gate and sat down there. Behold, the near kinsman of whom Boaz spoke came by. Boaz said to him, “Come over here, friend, and sit down!” He came over, and sat down.

Und Boas nahm zehn Männer von den Ältesten der Stadt und sprach: Setzet euch hierher; und sie setzten sich.

Entonces él tomó diez varones de los ancianos de la ciudad, y dijo: Sentaos aquí. Y ellos se sentaron.

And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down.

Boaz took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, “Sit down here,” and they sat down.

Und er sprach zu dem Blutsverwandten: Noomi, die aus dem Gefilde Moabs zurückgekehrt ist, verkauft das Feldstück, welches unserem Bruder Elimelech gehörte;

Luego dijo al pariente: Noemi, que ha vuelto del campo de Moab, vende una parte de las tierras que tuvo nuestro hermano Elimelech;

And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech’s:

He said to the near kinsman, “Naomi, who has come back out of the country of Moab, is selling the parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech’s.

so habe ich nun gedacht, ich wolle es deinem Ohr eröffnen und dir sagen: Kaufe es vor den Einwohnern und vor den Ältesten meines Volkes. Wenn du lösen willst, löse, und wenn du nicht lösen willst, so tue mir's kund, daß ich es wisse; denn da ist niemand außer dir zum Lösen, und ich komme nach dir. Und er sprach: Ich will lösen.

Y yo decidí hacértelo saber, y decirte que la tomes delante de los que están aquí sentados, y delante de los ancianos de mi pueblo. Si hubieres de redimir, redime; y si no quisieres redimir, decláramelo para que yo lo sepa: porque no hay otro que redima sino tú, y yo después de ti. Y él respondió: Yo redimiré.

And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it.

I thought I should tell you, saying, ‘Buy it before those who sit here, and before the elders of my people.’ If you will redeem it, redeem it; but if you will not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know. For there is no one to redeem it besides you; and I am after you.” He said, “I will redeem it.”

Da sprach Boas: An dem Tage, da du das Feld aus der Hand Noomis kaufst, hast du es auch von Ruth, der Moabitin, dem Weibe des Verstorbenen, gekauft, um den Namen des Verstorbenen auf seinem Erbteil zu erwecken.

Entonces replicó Booz: El mismo día que tomares las tierras de mano de Noemi, has de tomar también á Ruth Moabita, mujer del difunto, para que suscites el nombre del muerto sobre su posesión.

Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Then Boaz said, “On the day you buy the field from the hand of Naomi, you must buy it also from Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead on his inheritance.”

Da sprach der Blutsverwandte: Ich kann nicht für mich lösen, daß ich mein Erbteil nicht verderbe. Löse du für dich, was ich lösen sollte, denn ich kann nicht lösen.

Y respondió el pariente: No puedo redimir por mi parte, porque echaría á perder mi heredad: redime tú usando de mi derecho, porque yo no podré redimir.

And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.

The near kinsman said, “I can’t redeem it for myself, lest I endanger my own inheritance. Take my right of redemption for yourself; for I can’t redeem it.”

Dies aber geschah vordem in Israel bei einer Lösung und bei einem Tausche, um jede Sache zu bestätigen: Der eine zog seinen Schuh aus und gab ihn dem anderen; und das war die Art der Bezeugung in Israel.

Había ya de largo tiempo esta costumbre en Israel en la redención ó contrato, que para la confirmación de cualquier negocio, el uno se quitaba el zapato y lo daba á su compañero: y este era el testimonio en Israel.

Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.

Now this was the custom in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning exchanging, to confirm all things: a man took off his sandal, and gave it to his neighbor; and this was the way of formalizing transactions in Israel.

Und der Blutsverwandte sprach zu Boas: Kaufe für dich! Und er zog seinen Schuh aus.

Entonces el pariente dijo á Booz: Tómalo tú. Y descalzó su zapato.

Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe.

So the near kinsman said to Boaz, “Buy it for yourself,” then he took off his sandal.

Da sprach Boas zu den Ältesten und zu allem Volke: Ihr seid heute Zeugen, daß ich aus der Hand Noomis alles gekauft habe, was Elimelech, und alles, was Kiljon und Machlon gehörte;

Y Booz dijo á los ancianos y á todo el pueblo: Vosotros sois hoy testigos de que tomo todas las cosas que fueron de Elimelech, y todo lo que fué de Chelión y de Mahalón, de mano de Noemi;

And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.

Boaz said to the elders and to all the people, “You are witnesses today, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, from the hand of Naomi.

und auch Ruth, die Moabitin, das Weib Machlons, habe ich mir zum Weibe gekauft, um den Namen des Verstorbenen auf seinem Erbteil zu erwecken, daß nicht der Name des Verstorbenen ausgerottet werde unter seinen Brüdern und aus dem Tore seines Ortes. Ihr seid heute Zeugen!

Y que también tomo por mi mujer á Ruth Moabita, mujer de Mahalón, para suscitar el nombre del difunto sobre su heredad, para que el nombre del muerto no se borre de entre sus hermanos y de la puerta de su lugar. Vosotros sois hoy testigos.

Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.

Moreover, Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, I have purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead on his inheritance, that the name of the dead may not be cut off from among his brothers and from the gate of his place. You are witnesses today.”

Und alles Volk, das im Tore war, und die Ältesten sprachen: Wir sind Zeugen! Jehova mache das Weib, das in dein Haus kommt, wie Rahel und wie Lea, welche beide das Haus Israel erbaut haben; und werde mächtig in Ephrata und stifte einen Namen in Bethlehem!

Y dijeron todos los del pueblo que estaban á la puerta con los ancianos: Testigos somos. Jehová haga á la mujer que entra en tu casa como á Rachêl y á Lea, las cuales dos edificaron la casa de Israel; y tú seas ilustre en Ephrata, y tengas nombradía en Beth-lehem;

And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Beth-lehem:

All the people who were in the gate, and the elders, said, “We are witnesses. May the LORD make the woman who has come into your house like Rachel and like Leah, which both built the house of Israel; and treat you worthily in Ephrathah, and be famous in Bethlehem.

Und von dem Samen, den Jehova dir von diesem jungen Weibe geben wird, werde dein Haus wie das Haus des Perez, welchen Tamar dem Juda geboren hat!

Y de la simiente que Jehová te diere de aquesta moza, sea tu casa como la casa de Phares, al que parió Thamar á Judá.

And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.

Let your house be like the house of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah, of the offspring which the LORD will give you by this young woman.”

Und Boas nahm Ruth, und sie wurde sein Weib, und er ging zu ihr ein; und Jehova verlieh ihr Schwangerschaft und sie gebar einen Sohn.

Booz pues tomó á Ruth, y ella fué su mujer; y luego que entró á ella, Jehová le dió que concibiese y pariese un hijo.

So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.

So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and he went in to her, and the LORD enabled her to conceive, and she bore a son.

Und sie Weiber sprachen zu Noomi: Gepriesen sei Jehova, der es dir heute nicht hat fehlen lassen an einem Löser! Und sein Name werde gerühmt in Israel!

Y las mujeres decían á Noemi: Loado sea Jehová, que hizo que no te faltase hoy pariente, cuyo nombre será nombrado en Israel.

And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.

The women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the LORD, who has not left you today without a near kinsman. Let his name be famous in Israel.

Und er wird dir ein Erquicker der Seele sein und ein Versorger deines Alters! Denn deine Schwiegertochter, die dich liebt, hat ihn geboren, sie, die dir besser ist als sieben Söhne.

El cual será restaurador de tu alma, y el que sustentará tu vejez; pues que tu nuera, la cual te ama y te vale más que siete hijos, le ha parido.

And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.

He shall be to you a restorer of life and sustain you in your old age; for your daughter-in-law, who loves you, who is better to you than seven sons, has given birth to him.”

Und Noomi nahm das Kind und legte es auf ihren Schoß und wurde seine Wärterin.

Y tomando Noemi el hijo, púsolo en su regazo, y fuéle su ama.

And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.

Naomi took the child, laid him in her bosom, and became nurse to him.

Und die Nachbarinnen gaben ihm einen Namen, indem sie sprachen: Ein Sohn ist der Noomi geboren! Und sie gaben ihm den Namen Obed. Er ist der Vater Isais, des Vaters Davids.

Y las vecinas diciendo, A Noemi ha nacido un hijo, le pusieron nombre; y llamáronle Obed. Este es padre de Isaí, padre de David.

And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.

The women, her neighbors, gave him a name, saying, “A son is born to Naomi”. They named him Obed. He is the father of Jesse, the father of David.

Und dies sind die Geschlechter des Perez: Perez zeugte Hezron,

Y estas son las generaciones de Phares: Phares engendró á Hesrón;

Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron,

Now this is the history of the generations of Perez: Perez became the father of Hezron,

und Hezron zeugte Ram, und Ram zeugte Amminadab,

Y Hesrón engendró á Ram, y Ram engendró á Aminadab;

And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab,

and Hezron became the father of Ram, and Ram became the father of Amminadab,

und Amminadab zeugte Nachschon, und Nachschon zeugte Salma,

Y Aminadab engendró á Nahasón, y Nahasón engendró á Salmón;

And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon,

and Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon became the father of Salmon,

und Salmon zeugte Boas, und Boas zeugte Obed,

Y Salmón engendró á Booz, y Booz engendró á Obed;

And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,

and Salmon became the father of Boaz, and Boaz became the father of Obed,

und Obed zeugte Isai, und Isai zeugte David.

Y Obed engendró á Isaí, é Isaí engendró á David.

And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.

and Obed became the father of Jesse, and Jesse became the father of David.
