¡Oh si él me besara con ósculos de su boca! porque mejores son tus amores que el vino.
Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.

Agradable es el olor de tus perfumes; tu nombre es como perfume derramado; Por eso las jóvenes te dan su amor.
Por el olor de tus suaves ungüentos, (ungüento derramado es tu nombre,) por eso las doncellas te amaron.
Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.
Your oils have a pleasing fragrance. Your name is oil poured out, therefore the virgins love you.
Llévame contigo y te seguiremos. El rey me ha llevado a su casa. Coro Estaremos contentos y llenos de alegría en ti, pensaremos más en tu amor que en el vino. Los rectos te aman.
Llévame en pos de ti, correremos. Metióme el rey en sus cámaras: nos gozaremos y alegraremos en ti; acordarémonos de tus amores más que del vino: los rectos te aman.
Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

Soy oscura, pero hermosa, oh hijas de Jerusalén, como las tiendas de Cedar, como las cortinas de Salomón.
Morena soy, oh hijas de Jerusalem, mas codiciable; como las cabañas de Cedar, como las tiendas de Salomón.
I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.
I am dark, but lovely, you daughters of Jerusalem, like Kedar’s tents, like Solomon’s curtains.
No se fijen en qué soy morena, porque el sol me ha quemado; los hijos de mi madre estaban enojados conmigo; me hicieron el guardián de los viñedos; Pero mi viña no la he guardado.
No miréis en que soy morena, porque el sol me miró. Los hijos de mi madre se airaron contra mí, hiciéronme guarda de viñas; y mi viña, que era mía, no guardé.
Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.
Don’t stare at me because I am dark, because the sun has scorched me. My mother’s sons were angry with me. They made me keeper of the vineyards. I haven’t kept my own vineyard.
Di: Oh amor de mi alma, donde das comida a tu rebaño, y donde haces que descansen al calor del día; ¿Por qué tengo que ser como uno vagando por los rebaños de tus amigos?
Hazme saber, ó tú á quien ama mi alma, dónde repastas, dónde haces tener majada al medio día: porque, ¿por qué había yo de estar como vagueando tras los rebaños de tus compañeros?
Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?
Tell me, you whom my soul loves, where you graze your flock, where you rest them at noon; for why should I be as one who is veiled beside the flocks of your companions?
Si no tienes conocimiento, oh la más bella entre las mujeres, sigue los pasos del rebaño y da comida a tus cabras jóvenes junto a las carpas de los cuidadores.
Si tú no lo sabes, oh hermosa entre las mujeres, sal, yéndote por las huellas del rebaño, y apacienta tus cabritas junto á las cabañas de los pastores.
If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds’ tents.
If you don’t know, most beautiful among women, follow the tracks of the sheep. Graze your young goats beside the shepherds’ tents.
He hecho una comparación de ti, oh mi amor, con mi yegua en los carruajes de Faraón.
A yegua de los carros de Faraón te he comparado, amiga mía.
I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh’s chariots.

Tu rostro es una delicia entre los zarcillos, tu cuello con cadenas de joyas.
Hermosas son tus mejillas entre los pendientes, tu cuello entre los collares.
Thy cheeks are comely with rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of gold.
Your cheeks are beautiful with earrings, your neck with strings of jewels.
Te haremos cadenas de oro con adornos de plata.
Zarcillos de oro te haremos, con clavos de plata.
We will make thee borders of gold with studs of silver.
We will make you earrings of gold, with studs of silver.
Mientras el rey está sentado en su mesa, mis nardos esparce su perfume.
Mientras que el rey estaba en su reclinatorio, mi nardo dió su olor.
While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.

Como una bolsa de mirra es mi bien amado para mí, cuando está en reposo toda la noche entre mis pechos.
Mi amado es para mí un manojito de mirra, que reposa entre mis pechos.
