Je me lèverai donc ; j'irai par la ville, les marchés, les places, et je chercherai celui qu'aime mon âme. Je l'ai cherché, et ne l'ai point trouvé.

Levantaréme ahora, y rodearé por la ciudad; por las calles y por las plazas buscaré al que ama mi alma: busquélo, y no lo hallé.

I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.
