Riduciti prestamente, o amico mio, A guisa di cavriuolo, o di cerbiatto, Sopra i monti degli aromati.

Huye, amado mío; y sé semejante al gamo, ó al cervatillo, sobre las montañas de los aromas.

Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.

Come away, my beloved! Be like a gazelle or a young stag on the mountains of spices!
