"Sua mão esquerda está sob minha cabeça e sua mão direita me abraça". A mulher falando para as outras mulheres:

"Eu quero que jureis, filhas dos homens de Jerusalém, que vós não interrompais nosso amor até que ele acabe". As mulheres de Jerusalém falando:
Conjúroos, oh doncellas de Jerusalem, que no despertéis, ni hagáis velar al amor, hasta que quiera.

"Salomão tinha uma vinha em Baal-Hamom. Ele arrendou a vinha para aqueles que a manteriam. Cada um tinha que trazer doze quilos de prata por seus frutos.
Salomón tuvo una viña en Baal-hamón, la cual entregó á guardas, cada uno de los cuales debía traer mil monedas de plata por su fruto.
Solomon had a vineyard at Baal-hamon; he let out the vineyard unto keepers; every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver.

"Apressa-te, meu amado, e sê como a gazela ou um jovem cervo pelos montes perfumados!".
Huye, amado mío; y sé semejante al gamo, ó al cervatillo, sobre las montañas de los aromas.
Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.
Come away, my beloved! Be like a gazelle or a young stag on the mountains of spices!
