EMPERO tú, habla lo que conviene á la sana doctrina:

dass die alten Männer nüchtern seien, würdig, besonnen, gesund im Glauben, in der Liebe, im Ausharren;
Que los viejos sean templados, graves, prudentes, sanos en la fe, en la caridad, en la paciencia.
That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

die alten Frauen desgleichen in ihrem Betragen, wie es sich für den heiligen Stand gehört, nicht verleumderisch, nicht Sklavinnen von vielem Wein, Lehrerinnen des Guten;
Las viejas, asimismo, se distingan en un porte santo; no calumniadoras, no dadas á mucho vino, maestras de honestidad:
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

Palabra sana, é irreprensible; que el adversario se avergüence, no teniendo mal ninguno que decir de vosotros.
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
