Pero tú habla lo que está de acuerdo con la sana doctrina.

EMPERO tú, habla lo que conviene á la sana doctrina:

But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

But say the things which fit sound doctrine,

Que los ancianos sean sobrios, serios, prudentes, sanos en la fe, en el amor, en la paciencia.

Que los viejos sean templados, graves, prudentes, sanos en la fe, en la caridad, en la paciencia.

That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober minded, sound in faith, in love, and in perseverance,

Las ancianas asimismo sean reverentes en su porte; no calumniadoras, no esclavas del vino, maestras del bien;

Las viejas, asimismo, se distingan en un porte santo; no calumniadoras, no dadas á mucho vino, maestras de honestidad:

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good,

que enseñen a las mujeres jóvenes a amar a sus esposos y a sus hijos,

That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

that they may train the young wives to love their husbands, to love their children,

a ser prudentes, castas, cuidadosas de su casa, buenas, sujetas a sus esposos, para que la palabra de Dios no sea injuriada †calumniada, blasfemada.

A ser templadas, castas, que tengan cuidado de la casa, buenas, sujetas á sus maridos; porque la palabra de Dios no sea blasfemada.

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God’s word may not be blasphemed.

Exhorta asimismo a los jóvenes a que sean prudentes;

Exhorta asimismo á los mancebos á que sean comedidos;

Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

presentándote tú en todo como ejemplo de buenas obras; en la enseñanza mostrando integridad, seriedad,

In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

In all things show yourself an example of good works. In your teaching, show integrity, seriousness, incorruptibility,

palabra sana e irreprochable, de modo que el adversario se avergüence, y no tenga nada malo que decir de ustedes.

Palabra sana, é irreprensible; que el adversario se avergüence, no teniendo mal ninguno que decir de vosotros.

Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

and soundness of speech that can’t be condemned, that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us.

Exhorta a los esclavos a que se sujeten a sus amos, que agraden en todo, que no sean respondones;

Exhorta á los siervos á que sean sujetos á sus señores, que agraden en todo, no respondones;

Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;

Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters and to be well-pleasing in all things, not contradicting,

no defraudando, sino mostrándose fieles en todo, para que en todo adornen la doctrina de Dios nuestro Salvador.

No defraudando, antes mostrando toda buena lealtad, para que adornen en todo la doctrina de nuestro Salvador Dios.

Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

Porque la gracia de Dios se ha manifestado para salvación a todos los hombres,

enseñándonos que, renunciando a la impiedad †falta de reverencia y respeto y a los deseos mundanos, vivamos en este siglo sobria, justa y piadosamente †reverentemente,

aguardando la esperanza dichosa †afortunada, bienaventurada y la manifestación gloriosa de nuestro gran Dios y Salvador Jesús, el Cristo,

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

quien se dio a sí mismo por nosotros para redimirnos de toda iniquidad †maldad grande, gran injusticia, perversidad extrema y purificar para sí un pueblo propio, celoso de buenas obras.

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Esto habla, y exhorta y reprende con toda autoridad. Nadie te menosprecie.
