egli ci ha salvati; non per opere giuste, che noi abbiam fatte; ma, secondo la sua misericordia, per lo lavacro della rigenerazione, e per lo rinnovamento dello Spirito Santo;

No por obras de justicia que nosotros habíamos hecho, mas por su misericordia nos salvó, por el lavacro de la regeneración, y de la renovación del Espíritu Santo;

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
