2Da un grito de dolor, oh abeto, por la caída del cedro, porque los grandes han sido abatidos; llora de dolor, oh robles de Basán, porque los fuertes árboles del bosque han sido derribados.

2Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
