Horch! Die Hirten jammern, daß ihre herrliche Weide verwüstet ist! Horch! Die Löwen brüllen, daß die Pracht des Jordans verwüstet ist!

Voz de aullido de pastores, porque su magnificencia es asolada; estruendo de bramidos de cachorros de leones, porque la soberbia del Jordán es destruída.

There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.

A voice of the wailing of the shepherds! For their glory is destroyed—a voice of the roaring of young lions! For the pride of the Jordan is ruined.
