Este es el mensaje que el Señor tiene acerca de Israel: El Señor, que hizo los cielos, que puso los fundamentos de la tierra y que le dio vida al ser humano, dice esto:
CARGA de la palabra de Jehová acerca de Israel. Jehová, que extiende los cielos, y funda la tierra, y forma el espíritu del hombre dentro de él, ha dicho:
The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
A revelation of the LORD’s word concerning Israel: The LORD, who stretches out the heavens and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him says:
«Haré que Jerusalén sea como una copa de vino que embriague a los pueblos vecinos. También Judá, como Jerusalén, será sitiada.
He aquí, yo pongo á Jerusalem por vaso de temblor á todos los pueblos de alrededor cuando estén en el sitio contra Judá y contra Jerusalem.
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the surrounding peoples, and it will also be on Judah in the siege against Jerusalem.
Entonces todos los pueblos se juntarán para atacarla. Pero, en ese día, haré que Jerusalén sea como una piedra pesada a la que todos tratarán de levantar. Sin embargo, todos los que lo hagan van a fracasar, y quedarán aplastados debajo de ella.
Y será en aquel día, que yo pondré á Jerusalem por piedra pesada á todos los pueblos: todos los que se la cargaren, serán despedazados, bien que todas las gentes de la tierra se juntarán contra ella.
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
It will happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who burden themselves with it will be severely wounded, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered together against it.
»En aquel día», dice el Señor, «yo espantaré a todos los caballos, y enloqueceré a todos los jinetes. Ese día dejaré ciegos a todos los caballos de los pueblos, pero cuidaré con toda atención a mi pueblo Judá.
En aquel día, dice Jehová, heriré con aturdimiento á todo caballo, y con locura al que en él sube; mas sobre la casa de Judá abriré mis ojos, y á todo caballo de los pueblos heriré con ceguera.
In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
In that day,” says the LORD, “I will strike every horse with terror and his rider with madness. I will open my eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
Entonces los jefes de Judá dirán: “¡El Señor Todopoderoso es la fortaleza de Jerusalén! ¡En él basan su gran fuerza!”.
Y los capitanes de Judá dirán en su corazón: Mi fuerza son los moradores de Jerusalem en Jehová de los ejércitos su Dios.
And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.
The chieftains of Judah will say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the LORD of Armies their God.’
»En ese tiempo haré que los jefes de Judá sean como un pequeño fuego que enciende un gran bosque, como antorcha encendida entre las gavillas de paja seca; acabarán con las naciones vecinas como lo hace el fuego con la paja, mientras Jerusalén quedará inconmovible, y volverá a ser habitada.
En aquel día pondré los capitanes de Judá como un brasero de fuego en leña, y como una hacha de fuego en gavillas; y consumirán á diestra y á siniestra todos los pueblos alrededor: y Jerusalem será otra vez habitada en su lugar, en Jerusalem.
In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
In that day I will make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.
El Señor salvará, en primer lugar, a las otras familias de Judá, antes que a la familia de David. De ese modo, todos entenderán que para el Señor todos los miembros de su pueblo son de igual valor. Así que la familia de David no podrá pensar que es más importante que las otras.
Y librará Jehová las tiendas de Judá primero, porque la gloria de la casa de David y del morador de Jerusalem no se engrandezca sobre Judá.
The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.

»En ese tiempo, el Señor defenderá al pueblo de Jerusalén; el más débil de sus habitantes será tan poderoso como el rey David. Y la descendencia real será como Dios mismo, como el ángel del Señor que va delante de ellos.
En aquel día Jehová defenderá al morador de Jerusalem: y el que entre ellos fuere flaco, en aquel tiempo será como David; y la casa de David como ángeles, como el ángel de Jehová delante de ellos.
In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He who is feeble among them at that day will be like David, and David’s house will be like God, like the LORD’s angel before them.
»En ese tiempo, destruiré a todas las naciones que se movilicen para atacar a Jerusalén.
Y será que en aquel día yo procuraré quebrantar todas las gentes que vinieren contra Jerusalem.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Entonces llenaré las vidas de los habitantes de Jerusalén de espíritu de gracia y oración, y ellos pondrán su atención en mí, a quien traspasaron, y se lamentarán de su antiguo error como se llora la muerte de un primogénito, habrá luto como si se les hubiera muerto el hijo mayor.
Y derramaré sobre la casa de David, y sobre los moradores de Jerusalem, espíritu de gracia y de oración; y mirarán á mí, á quien traspasaron, y harán llanto sobre él, como llanto sobre unigénito, afligiéndose sobre él como quien se aflige sobre primogénito.
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

»En aquel día, el lamento que habrá en Jerusalén será tan grande como el que los paganos hacen por su dios Hadad Rimón en el valle de Meguido.

»Todo Israel llorará con profundo pesar. Toda la nación hará lamento con una aflicción que será general: rey, profeta, sacerdote y pueblo. Cada familia, por separado, llorará y hará duelo. Será igual para la familia de David, la de Natán, la de Leví, la de Simí, y todas las demás. Hombres y mujeres llorarán por igual. Cada familia llorará su propia tragedia, y también se hará duelo por el destino de todo el pueblo.
Y la tierra lamentará, cada linaje de por sí; el linaje de la casa de David por sí, y sus mujeres por sí; el linaje de la casa de Nathán por sí, y sus mujeres por sí;
And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
