Zacarías 12

1Oracolo, parola dell’Eterno, riguardo a Israele. Parola dell’Eterno che ha disteso i cieli e fondata la terra, e che ha formato lo spirito dell’uomo dentro di lui:
2Ecco, io farò di Gerusalemme una coppa di stordimento per tutti i popoli all’intorno; e questo concernerà anche Giuda, quando si cingerà d’assedio Gerusalemme.
3E in quel giorno avverrà che io farò di Gerusalemme una pietra pesante per tutti i popoli; tutti quelli che se la caricheranno addosso ne saranno malamente feriti, e tutte le nazioni della terra s’aduneranno contro di lei.
4In quel giorno, dice l’Eterno, io colpirò di smarrimento tutti i cavalli, e di delirio quelli che li montano; io aprirò i miei occhi sulla casa di Giuda, ma colpirò di cecità tutti i cavalli dei popoli.
5E i capi di Giuda diranno in cuor loro: “Gli abitanti di Gerusalemme son la mia forza nell’Eterno degli eserciti, loro Dio”.
6In quel giorno, io renderò i capi di Giuda come un braciere ardente in mezzo a delle legna, come una torcia accesa in mezzo a dei covoni; essi divoreranno a destra e a sinistra tutti i popoli d’ogn’intorno; e Gerusalemme sarà ancora abitata nel suo proprio luogo, a Gerusalemme.
7L’Eterno salverà prima le tende di Giuda, perché la gloria della casa di Davide e la gloria degli abitanti di Gerusalemme non s’innalzi al disopra di Giuda.
8In quel giorno l’Eterno proteggerà gli abitanti di Gerusalemme; e colui che fra loro vacilla sarà in quel giorno come Davide, e la casa di Davide sarà come Dio, come l’angelo dell’Eterno davanti a loro.
9E in quel giorno avverrà che io avrò cura di distruggere tutte le nazioni che verranno contro Gerusalemme.
10E spanderò sulla casa di Davide e sugli abitanti di Gerusalemme lo spirito di grazia e di supplicazione; ed essi riguarderanno a me, a colui ch’essi hanno trafitto, e ne faran cordoglio come si fa cordoglio per un figliuolo unico, e lo piangeranno amaramente come si piange amaramente un primogenito.
11In quel giorno vi sarà un gran lutto in Gerusalemme, pari al lutto di Hadadrimmon nella valle di Meghiddon.
12E il paese farà cordoglio, ogni famiglia da sé; la famiglia della casa di Davide da sé, e le loro mogli da sé; la famiglia della casa di Nathan da sé, e le loro mogli da sé;
13la famiglia della casa di Levi da sé, le loro mogli da sé; la famiglia degli Scimeiti da sé, e le loro mogli da sé;
14tutte le famiglie rimaste ognuna da sé, e le mogli da sé.

1CARGA de la palabra de Jehová acerca de Israel. Jehová, que extiende los cielos, y funda la tierra, y forma el espíritu del hombre dentro de él, ha dicho:
2He aquí, yo pongo á Jerusalem por vaso de temblor á todos los pueblos de alrededor cuando estén en el sitio contra Judá y contra Jerusalem.
3Y será en aquel día, que yo pondré á Jerusalem por piedra pesada á todos los pueblos: todos los que se la cargaren, serán despedazados, bien que todas las gentes de la tierra se juntarán contra ella.
4En aquel día, dice Jehová, heriré con aturdimiento á todo caballo, y con locura al que en él sube; mas sobre la casa de Judá abriré mis ojos, y á todo caballo de los pueblos heriré con ceguera.
5Y los capitanes de Judá dirán en su corazón: Mi fuerza son los moradores de Jerusalem en Jehová de los ejércitos su Dios.
6En aquel día pondré los capitanes de Judá como un brasero de fuego en leña, y como una hacha de fuego en gavillas; y consumirán á diestra y á siniestra todos los pueblos alrededor: y Jerusalem será otra vez habitada en su lugar, en Jerusalem.
7Y librará Jehová las tiendas de Judá primero, porque la gloria de la casa de David y del morador de Jerusalem no se engrandezca sobre Judá.
8En aquel día Jehová defenderá al morador de Jerusalem: y el que entre ellos fuere flaco, en aquel tiempo será como David; y la casa de David como ángeles, como el ángel de Jehová delante de ellos.
9Y será que en aquel día yo procuraré quebrantar todas las gentes que vinieren contra Jerusalem.
10Y derramaré sobre la casa de David, y sobre los moradores de Jerusalem, espíritu de gracia y de oración; y mirarán á mí, á quien traspasaron, y harán llanto sobre él, como llanto sobre unigénito, afligiéndose sobre él como quien se aflige sobre primogénito.
11En aquel día habrá gran llanto en Jerusalem, como el llanto de Adadrimón en el valle de Megiddo.
12Y la tierra lamentará, cada linaje de por sí; el linaje de la casa de David por sí, y sus mujeres por sí; el linaje de la casa de Nathán por sí, y sus mujeres por sí;
13El linaje de la casa de Leví por sí, y sus mujeres por sí; el linaje de Simei por sí, y sus mujeres por sí;
14Todos los otros linajes, los linajes por sí, y sus mujeres por sí.

1The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
2Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
4In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
5And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.
6In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
7The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
8In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
9And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
11In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
12And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
13The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
14All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

1A revelation of the LORD’s word concerning Israel: The LORD, who stretches out the heavens and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him says:
2“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the surrounding peoples, and it will also be on Judah in the siege against Jerusalem.
3It will happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who burden themselves with it will be severely wounded, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered together against it.
4In that day,” says the LORD, “I will strike every horse with terror and his rider with madness. I will open my eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
5The chieftains of Judah will say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the LORD of Armies their God.’
6In that day I will make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.
7The LORD also will save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of David’s house and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem not be magnified above Judah.
8In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He who is feeble among them at that day will be like David, and David’s house will be like God, like the LORD’s angel before them.
9It will happen in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10I will pour on David’s house and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplication. They will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for his firstborn.
