6Ma le mie parole e i miei decreti, dei quali avevo dato incarico ai miei servi i profeti, non arrivarono essi a colpire i padri vostri? Allora essi si convertirono, e dissero: L’Eterno degli eserciti ci ha trattati secondo le nostre vie e secondo le nostre azioni, come avea risoluto di fare”.

6Empero mis palabras y mis ordenanzas que mandé á mis siervos los profetas, ¿no alcanzaron á vuestros padres? Por eso se volvieron ellos y dijeron: Como Jehová de los ejércitos pensó tratarnos conforme á nuestros caminos, y conforme á nuestras obras, así lo hizo con nosotros.

6But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

6But my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, didn’t they overtake your fathers? “Then they repented and said, ‘Just as the LORD of Armies determined to do to us, according to our ways and according to our practices, so he has dealt with us.’”
