In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

Le Seigneur a été transporté d'un grand courroux contre vos pères.
Enojóse Jehová con ira contra vuestros padres.
The LORD hath been sore displeased with your fathers.
“The LORD was very displeased with your fathers.
Et tu diras au peuple : Voici ce que dit le Seigneur tout-puissant : Convertissez-vous à Moi ; dit le Seigneur des armées, et Je reviendrai à vous, dit le Seigneur des armées.
Les dirás pues: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Volveos á mí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y yo me volveré á vosotros, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.
Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.
Therefore tell them, the LORD of Armies says: ‘Return to me,’ says the LORD of Armies, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the LORD of Armies.
Et ne soyez pas comme vos pères, à qui les prophètes d'autrefois firent des reproches, disant : Voici ce que dit le Seigneur, Maître de toutes choses : Quittez vos mauvaises voies et vos œuvres criminelles ; et ils n'écoutèrent pas, et ils ne s'empressèrent pas de M'obéir, dit le Seigneur.
No seáis como vuestros padres, á los cuales dieron voces los primeros profetas, diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Volveos ahora de vuestros malos caminos, y de vuestras malas obras: y no atendieron, ni me escucharon, dice Jehová.
Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.
Don’t you be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying: The LORD of Armies says, ‘Return now from your evil ways and from your evil doings;’ but they didn’t hear nor listen to me, says the LORD.
Où sont vos pères ? Où sont les prophètes ? Est-ce qu'ils vivront toujours ?
Vuestros padres, ¿dónde están? y los profetas ¿han de vivir para siempre?
Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?

Accueillez donc Mes paroles et Mes ordonnances, et tout ce que par Mon Esprit J'ai intimé à Mes serviteurs les prophètes, qui ont repris vos pères ; or ceux-ci ont répondu, et ont dit : le Seigneur nous a traités selon ce qu'Il avait résolu, et ainsi a-t-Il fait, à cause de nos voies et de nos œuvres.
Empero mis palabras y mis ordenanzas que mandé á mis siervos los profetas, ¿no alcanzaron á vuestros padres? Por eso se volvieron ellos y dijeron: Como Jehová de los ejércitos pensó tratarnos conforme á nuestros caminos, y conforme á nuestras obras, así lo hizo con nosotros.
But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.
But my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, didn’t they overtake your fathers? “Then they repented and said, ‘Just as the LORD of Armies determined to do to us, according to our ways and according to our practices, so he has dealt with us.’”
Le vingt-quatrième jour du onzième mois, celui du Sabbat, la deuxième année du règne de Darius, la parole du Seigneur vint à Zacharie, fils de Barachie, fils d'Addo, le prophète, disant :
A los veinticuatro del mes undécimo, que es el mes de Sebath, en el año segundo de Darío, fué palabra de Jehová á Zacarías profeta, hijo de Berechîas, hijo de Iddo, diciendo:
Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the LORD’s word came to the prophet Zechariah the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo, saying,
J'ai eu la nuit une vision. Et voilà qu'un homme était monté sur un cheval fauve, et il se tenait entre des montagnes ombreuses, et il y avait derrière lui des chevaux roux, gris-pommelé, tachetés et blancs.
Vi de noche, y he aquí un varón que cabalgaba sobre un caballo bermejo, el cual estaba entre los mirtos que había en la hondura; y detrás de él había caballos bermejos, overos, y blancos.
I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.
“I had a vision in the night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in a ravine; and behind him there were red, brown, and white horses.
Et je dis : Qui sont ceux-là, Seigneur ? Et l'ange qui parlait avec moi me dit : Je te montrerai ce que c'est.
Entonces dije: ¿Qué son éstos, señor mío? Y díjome el ángel que hablaba conmigo: Yo te enseñaré qué son éstos.
Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be.
Then I asked, ‘My lord, what are these?’” The angel who talked with me said to me, “I will show you what these are.”
Et l'homme qui se tenait debout entre les montagnes, parla, et il me dit : Ceux-là sont ceux que le Seigneur a envoyés pour aller par toute la terre.
Y aquel varón que estaba entre los mirtos respondió, y dijo: Estos son los que Jehová ha enviado á recorrer la tierra.
And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
The man who stood among the myrtle trees answered, “They are the ones the LORD has sent to go back and forth through the earth.”
Et ils parlèrent à l'ange du Seigneur qui se tenait entre les montagnes, et ils dirent : Nous sommes allés par toute la terre, et voilà que toute la terre est habitée, et elle est en repos.
Y ellos hablaron á aquel ángel de Jehová que estaba entre los mirtos, y dijeron: Hemos recorrido la tierra, y he aquí, toda la tierra está reposada y quieta.
And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.
They reported to the LORD’s angel who stood among the myrtle trees, and said, “We have walked back and forth through the earth, and behold, all the earth is at rest and in peace.”
Et l'ange du Seigneur répondit : Seigneur tout-puissant, dit-il, jusques à quand seras-Tu sans miséricorde pour Jérusalem et pour les villes de Juda, que Tu as délaissées depuis soixante-dix ans ?
Y respondió el ángel de Jehová, y dijo: Oh Jehová de los ejércitos, ¿hasta cuándo no tendrás piedad de Jerusalem, y de las ciudades de Judá, con las cuales has estado airado por espacio de setenta años?
Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?
Then the LORD’s angel replied, “O LORD of Armies, how long will you not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which you have had indignation these seventy years?”
Et le Seigneur tout-puissant répondit à l'ange qui parlait avec moi, et lui dit des paroles bonnes et consolantes ;
Y Jehová respondió buenas palabras, palabras consolatorias á aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo.
And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words.
The LORD answered the angel who talked with me with kind and comforting words.
et l'ange qui parlait avec moi me dit : Crie de toute ta force. Voilà ce que dit le Seigneur tout-puissant : Je suis pris d'un grand zèle pour Jérusalem et pour Sion ;
Y díjome el ángel que hablaba conmigo: Clama diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Celé á Jerusalem y á Sión con gran celo:
So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
So the angel who talked with me said to me, “Proclaim, saying, ‘The LORD of Armies says: “I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
mais J'ai une grande colère contre les gentils qui se sont coalisés ; car Me voyant un peu irrité contre elle, ils se sont coalisés pour lui faire du mal.
Y con grande enojo estoy airado contra las gentes que están reposadas; porque yo estaba enojado un poco, y ellos ayudaron para el mal.
And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.
I am very angry with the nations that are at ease; for I was but a little displeased, but they added to the calamity.”
C'est pourquoi voici ce que dit le Seigneur : Je reviendrai à Jérusalem en Ma miséricorde, et Mon temple y sera réédifié, dit le Seigneur tout-puissant ; et il étendra encore le cordeau sur Jérusalem.
Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: Yo me he tornado á Jerusalem con miseraciones; en ella será edificada mi casa, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y la plomada será tendida sobre Jerusalem.
Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
Therefore the LORD says: “I have returned to Jerusalem with mercy. My house shall be built in it,” says the LORD of Armies, “and a line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem.”’
Et l'ange qui parlait avec moi ajouta : Crie encore de toute ta force : Voilà ce que dit le Seigneur Tout-Puissant : Leurs villes seront de nouveau remplies de biens, et le Seigneur sera miséricordieux envers Sion, et Jérusalem sera Son élue.
Clama aún, diciendo: Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: Aun serán ensanchadas mis ciudades por la abundancia del bien; y aun consolará Jehová á Sión, y escogerá todavía á Jerusalem.
Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
“Proclaim further, saying, ‘The LORD of Armies says: “My cities will again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion, and will again choose Jerusalem.”’”

Después alcé mis ojos, y miré, y he aquí cuatro cuernos.
Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.
I lifted up my eyes and saw, and behold, four horns.

Y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: ¿Qué son éstos? Y respondióme: Estos son los cuernos que aventaron á Judá, á Israel, y á Jerusalem.
And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these?” He answered me, “These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”

And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.
The LORD showed me four craftsmen.

Y yo dije: ¿Qué vienen éstos á hacer? Y respondióme, diciendo: Estos son los cuernos que aventaron á Judá, tanto que ninguno alzó su cabeza; mas éstos han venido para hacerlos temblar, para derribar los cuernos de las gentes, que alzaron el cuerno sobre la tierra de Judá para aventarla.
Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
Then I asked, “What are these coming to do?” He said, “These are the horns which scattered Judah, so that no man lifted up his head; but these have come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.”
