Es hatte nämlich Bethel den Sarezer und Regem-Melech samt seinen Leuten abgesandt, um den HERRN (durch Opfer) gnädig zu stimmen,

Cuando fué enviado á la casa de Dios, Saraser, con Regem-melech y sus hombres, á implorar el favor de Jehová,

When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regem-melech, and their men, to pray before the LORD,

The people of Bethel sent Sharezer and Regem Melech and their men to entreat the LORD’s favor,
