Os judeus da cidade de Betel haviam mandado um grupo de homens liderados por Sarezer, o chefe do pessoal do palácio real, e Regém-Meleque, ao templo do Senhor em Jerusalém para buscar a ajuda do Senhor,

Cuando fué enviado á la casa de Dios, Saraser, con Regem-melech y sus hombres, á implorar el favor de Jehová,

When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regem-melech, and their men, to pray before the LORD,

The people of Bethel sent Sharezer and Regem Melech and their men to entreat the LORD’s favor,
