Zacarías 7

El año cuarto del rey Darío, el día cuarto del mes noveno, Kislev, aconteció que la Palabra de Yavé vino a Zacarías.

Y ACONTECIÓ en el año cuarto del rey Darío, que fué palabra de Jehová á Zacarías á los cuatro del mes noveno, que es Chisleu;

And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

In the fourth year of King Darius, the LORD’s word came to Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, the month of Chislev.

Entonces Bet-ʼEl envió a Sarezer, al portavoz real y a su gente a implorar el favor de Yavé.

Cuando fué enviado á la casa de Dios, Saraser, con Regem-melech y sus hombres, á implorar el favor de Jehová,

When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regem-melech, and their men, to pray before the LORD,

The people of Bethel sent Sharezer and Regem Melech and their men to entreat the LORD’s favor,

También envió a hablar a los sacerdotes que estaban en la Casa de Yavé de las huestes y a los profetas: ¿Debo llorar y ayunar el mes quinto como lo hice tantos años?

Y á hablar á los sacerdotes que estaban en la casa de Jehová de los ejércitos, y á los profetas, diciendo: ¿Lloraremos en el mes quinto? ¿haremos abstinencia como hemos hecho ya algunos años?

And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

and to speak to the priests of the house of the LORD of Armies and to the prophets, saying, “Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?”

Entonces la Palabra de Yavé de las huestes vino a mí:

Fué pues á mí palabra de Jehová de los ejércitos, diciendo:

Then came the word of the LORD of hosts unto me, saying,

Then the word of the LORD of Armies came to me, saying,

Habla a todo el pueblo de esta tierra y a los sacerdotes: Cuando ustedes ayunaban y lloraban los meses quinto y séptimo durante estos 70 años, ¿ayunaban por Mí?

Habla á todo el pueblo del país, y á los sacerdotes, diciendo: Cuando ayunasteis y llorasteis en el quinto y en el séptimo mes estos setenta años, ¿habéis ayunado para mí?

Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

“Speak to all the people of the land and to the priests, saying, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and in the seventh month for these seventy years, did you at all fast to me, really to me?

Cuando comen y beben, ¿no comen y beben para ustedes mismos?

Y cuando coméis y bebéis, ¿no coméis y bebéis para vosotros?

And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

When you eat and when you drink, don’t you eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves?

¿No son estas las palabras que Yavé proclamó por medio de los primeros profetas, cuando Jerusalén y las ciudades que la circundan, los pueblos vecinos, el Neguev y la Sefela, estaban habitados y prósperos?

¿No son estas las palabras que publicó Jehová por mano de los profetas primeros, cuando Jerusalem estaba habitada y quieta, y sus ciudades en sus alrededores, y el mediodía y la campiña se habitaban?

Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

Aren’t these the words which the LORD proclaimed by the former prophets when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and its cities around her, and the South and the lowland were inhabited?’”

Vino la Palabra de Yavé a Zacarías:

Y fué palabra de Jehová á Zacarías, diciendo:

And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying,

The LORD’s word came to Zechariah, saying,

Yavé de las huestes dice: Administren verdadera justicia. Muestren misericordia y compasión cada uno a su prójimo.

Así habló Jehová de los ejércitos, diciendo: Juzgad juicio verdadero, y haced misericordia y piedad cada cual con su hermano:

Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

“Thus has the LORD of Armies spoken, saying, ‘Execute true judgment, and show kindness and compassion every man to his brother.

No opriman a la viuda, ni al huérfano, ni al extranjero, ni al pobre. Ni alguno piense el mal en su corazón contra su hermano.

No agraviéis á la viuda, ni al huérfano, ni al extranjero, ni al pobre; ni ninguno piense mal en su corazón contra su hermano.

And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

Don’t oppress the widow, the fatherless, the foreigner, nor the poor; and let none of you devise evil against his brother in your heart.’

Pero no quisieron escuchar, más bien volvieron la espalda, y taparon sus oídos para no escuchar.

Empero no quisieron escuchar, antes dieron hombro rebelado, y agravaron sus oídos para no oir:

But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

But they refused to listen, and turned their backs, and stopped their ears, that they might not hear.

Endurecieron su corazón como un diamante para no escuchar la Ley ni las palabras que Yavé de las huestes enviaba por su Espíritu a través de los antiguos profetas. Por tanto un gran furor vino de parte Yavé de las huestes.

Y pusieron su corazón como diamante, para no oir la ley ni las palabras que Jehová de los ejércitos enviaba por su espíritu, por mano de los profetas primeros: fué, por tanto, hecho grande castigo por Jehová de los ejércitos.

Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

Yes, they made their hearts as hard as flint, lest they might hear the law and the words which the LORD of Armies had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from the LORD of Armies.

Aconteció que, así como Él llamó y no escucharon, también ellos llamaron y Yo no escuché, dice Yavé de las huestes.

Y aconteció que como él clamó, y no escucharon, así ellos clamaron, y yo no escuché, dice Jehová de los ejércitos;

Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:

It has come to pass that, as he called and they refused to listen, so they will call and I will not listen,” said the LORD of Armies;

Pero los dispersé con un remolino de viento por todas las naciones que ellos no conocían. Y después de ellos, la tierra quedó desolada, de tal modo que nadie pasaba por ella, ni regresaba a ella, porque ellos convirtieron la tierra agradable en desolación.

Antes los esparcí con torbellino por todas las gentes que ellos no conocían, y la tierra fué desolada tras de ellos, sin quedar quien fuese ni viniese; pues tornaron en asolamiento el país deseable.

But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.

“but I will scatter them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they have not known. Thus the land was desolate after them, so that no man passed through nor returned; for they made the pleasant land desolate.”
