Sofonías 1

(Dies ist) das Wort des HERRN, das an Zephanja, den Sohn Kusis, des Sohnes Gedaljas, des Sohnes Amarjas, des Sohnes Hiskias, ergangen ist in den Tagen des judäischen Königs Josia, des Sohnes Amons.

PALABRA de Jehová que fué á Sofonías hijo de Cushi, hijo de Gedalías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Ezechîas, en días de Josías hijo de Amón, rey de Judá.

The word of the LORD which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.

The LORD’s word which came to Zephaniah, the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah.

»Wegraffen, ja wegraffen will ich alles von der Oberfläche des Erdbodens hinweg!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –;

Destruiré del todo todas las cosas de sobre la haz de la tierra, dice Jehová.

I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.

I will utterly sweep away everything from the surface of the earth, says the LORD.

»wegraffen will ich Menschen und Vieh, wegraffen die Vögel des Himmels und die Fische des Meeres; ausrotten will ich die Gottlosen und die Menschen von der Oberfläche des Erdbodens vertilgen!« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN.

Destruiré los hombres y las bestias; destruiré las aves del cielo, y los peces de la mar, y las piedras de tropiezo con los impíos; y talaré los hombres de sobre la haz de la tierra, dice Jehová.

I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.

I will sweep away man and animal. I will sweep away the birds of the sky, the fish of the sea, and the heaps of rubble with the wicked. I will cut off man from the surface of the earth, says the LORD.

»Und ich will meine Hand ausstrecken gegen Juda und gegen alle Bewohner Jerusalems und will aus diesem Ort alles ausrotten, was vom Baalsdienst noch übrig ist, den Namen der Götzenpfaffen mitsamt den Priestern,

Y extenderé mi mano sobre Judá, y sobre todos los moradores de Jerusalem, y exterminaré de este lugar el remanente de Baal, y el nombre de los Chemarim con los sacerdotes;

I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;

I will stretch out my hand against Judah and against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place—the name of the idolatrous and pagan priests,

ebenso alle, die auf den Dächern das Heer des Himmels anbeten, und alle, die zwar den HERRN anbeten und bei ihm schwören, zugleich aber auch bei Milkom schwören;

Y á los que se inclinan sobre los terrados al ejército del cielo; y á los que se inclinan jurando por Jehová y jurando por su rey;

And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;

those who worship the army of the sky on the housetops, those who worship and swear by the LORD and also swear by Malcam,

und alle, die treulos vom HERRN abgefallen sind und die den HERRN nicht suchen und sich nicht um ihn kümmern!«

Y á los que tornan atrás de en pos de Jehová; y á los que no buscaron á Jehová, ni preguntaron por él.

And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him.

those who have turned back from following the LORD, and those who haven’t sought the LORD nor inquired after him.

(Seid) still vor Gott dem HERRN! Denn nahe ist der Tag des HERRN; denn zugerichtet hat der HERR ein Opferfest, hat die von ihm Geladenen schon geweiht.

Calla en la presencia del Señor Jehová, porque el día de Jehová está cercano; porque Jehová ha aparejado sacrificio, prevenido ha sus convidados.

Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

Be silent at the presence of the Lord GOD, for the day of the LORD is at hand. For the LORD has prepared a sacrifice. He has consecrated his guests.

Am Tage des Opferfestes des HERRN aber wird es geschehen: »Da will ich ins Gericht gehen mit den Obersten und den Königssöhnen und mit allen, die sich in fremdländische Gewänder kleiden.

Y será que en el día del sacrificio de Jehová, haré visitación sobre los príncipes, y sobre los hijos del rey, y sobre todos los que visten vestido extranjero.

And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.

It will happen in the day of the LORD’s sacrifice that I will punish the princes, the king’s sons, and all those who are clothed with foreign clothing.

Auch will ich an jenem Tage mit allen denen ins Gericht gehen, die über die Schwelle hüpfen, mit allen, die das Haus ihres Herrn mit Gewalttat und Betrug anfüllen.

Asimismo haré visitación en aquel día sobre todos los que saltan la puerta, los que hinchen de robo y de engaño las casas de sus señores.

In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters’ houses with violence and deceit.

In that day, I will punish all those who leap over the threshold, who fill their master’s house with violence and deceit.

An jenem Tage« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN – »wird Wehgeschrei vom Fischtor her erschallen und Geheul aus der Neustadt und lautes Jammern von den Hügeln her.

Y habrá en aquel día, dice Jehová, voz de clamor desde la puerta del pescado, y aullido desde la segunda, y grande quebrantamiento desde los collados.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.

In that day, says the LORD, there will be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, a wailing from the second quarter, and a great crashing from the hills.

Wehklagt, ihr Bewohner des Mörsertals! Denn zu Ende ist es mit der gesamten Kaufmannschaft, vernichtet sind alle Geldabwäger!

Aullad, moradores de Mactes, porque todo el pueblo mercader es destruído; talados son todos los que traían dinero.

Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.

Wail, you inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the people of Canaan are undone! All those who were loaded with silver are cut off.

Und geschehen wird es zu jener Zeit, da will ich Jerusalem mit Leuchten absuchen und mit den Männern ins Gericht gehen, die sorglos auf ihren Hefen liegen, die da in ihrem Herzen denken: ›Der HERR tut weder Gutes noch Böses!‹

Y será en aquel tiempo, que yo escudriñaré á Jerusalem con candiles, y haré visitación sobre los hombres que están sentados sobre sus heces, los cuales dicen en su corazón: Jehová ni hará bien ni mal.

And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.

It will happen at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart, “The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.”

Da werden dann ihre Güter der Plünderung und ihre Häuser der Verwüstung anheimfallen; und wenn sie sich (wieder) Häuser bauen, sollen sie nicht darin wohnen und, wenn sie Weinberge angelegt haben, keinen Wein davon trinken.«

Será por tanto saqueada su hacienda, y sus casas asoladas: y edificarán casas, mas no las habitarán; y plantarán viñas, mas no beberán el vino de ellas.

Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.

Their wealth will become a plunder, and their houses a desolation. Yes, they will build houses, but won’t inhabit them. They will plant vineyards, but won’t drink their wine.

Nahe ist der große Tag des HERRN, nahe ist er und eilt gar schnell heran. Horch, der Tag des HERRN, der bittere: da schreit auch der tapferste Krieger auf!

Cercano está el día grande de Jehová, cercano y muy presuroso; voz amarga del día de Jehová; gritará allí el valiente.

The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

The great day of the LORD is near. It is near and hurries greatly, the voice of the day of the LORD. The mighty man cries there bitterly.

Ein Tag des Zorns ist dieser Tag, ein Tag der Angst und Drangsal, ein Tag der Trümmer und der Zertrümmerung, ein Tag der Finsternis und tiefen Dunkels, ein Tag des Gewölks und der Wolkennacht,

Día de ira aquel día, día de angustia y de aprieto, día de alboroto y de asolamiento, día de tiniebla y de oscuridad, día de nublado y de entenebrecimiento,

That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

ein Tag des Posaunenschalls und des Lärmblasens gegen die festen Städte und gegen die hochragenden Zinnen.

Día de trompeta y de algazara, sobre las ciudades fuertes, y sobre las altas torres.

A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

Da will ich die Menschen ängstigen, daß sie einhergehen wie die Blinden, weil sie gegen den HERRN gesündigt haben: ihr Blut soll wie Staub hingeschüttet werden und ihr Fleisch wie Kot (zertreten werden).

Y atribularé los hombres, y andarán como ciegos, porque pecaron contra Jehová: y la sangre de ellos será derramada como polvo, y su carne como estiércol.

And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

I will bring such distress on men that they will walk like blind men because they have sinned against the LORD. Their blood will be poured out like dust and their flesh like dung.

Weder ihr Silber noch ihr Gold wird sie am Tage des Zorns des HERRN zu retten vermögen, sondern vom Feuer seines Eifers soll die ganze Erde verzehrt werden; denn Vernichtung, ja jähen Untergang wird er allen Bewohnern der Erde bereiten.

Ni su plata ni su oro podrá librarlos en el día de la ira de Jehová; pues toda la tierra será consumida con el fuego de su celo: porque ciertamente consumación apresurada hará con todos los moradores de la tierra.

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’s wrath, but the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy; for he will make an end, yes, a terrible end, of all those who dwell in the land.
