Sofonías 1

Parole de l'Eternel, qui fut adressée à Cephania, fils de Couchi, fils de Ghedalia, fils d'Amaria, fils de Hizkia sous le règne de Josias, fils d'Amon, roi de Juda:

PALABRA de Jehová que fué á Sofonías hijo de Cushi, hijo de Gedalías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Ezechîas, en días de Josías hijo de Amón, rey de Judá.

The word of the LORD which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.

The LORD’s word which came to Zephaniah, the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah.

"Je vais tout balayer de dessus la face de la terre, dit le Seigneur.

Destruiré del todo todas las cosas de sobre la haz de la tierra, dice Jehová.

I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.

I will utterly sweep away everything from the surface of the earth, says the LORD.

Je vais balayer hommes et bêtes, je vais balayer oiseaux du ciel et poissons de la mer, les occasions de chute avec les impies: j'exterminerai les hommes de dessus le sol, dit le Seigneur.

Destruiré los hombres y las bestias; destruiré las aves del cielo, y los peces de la mar, y las piedras de tropiezo con los impíos; y talaré los hombres de sobre la haz de la tierra, dice Jehová.

I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.

I will sweep away man and animal. I will sweep away the birds of the sky, the fish of the sea, and the heaps of rubble with the wicked. I will cut off man from the surface of the earth, says the LORD.

Puis j'étendrai la main sur Juda et sur tous les habitants de Jérusalem, et je ferai disparaître de cette ville ce qui reste de Baal, le nom des desservants d'idoles avec les prêtres;

Y extenderé mi mano sobre Judá, y sobre todos los moradores de Jerusalem, y exterminaré de este lugar el remanente de Baal, y el nombre de los Chemarim con los sacerdotes;

I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;

de même ceux qui, sur les terrasses, se prosternent à l'armée céleste, qui se prosternent tantôt en jurant par l'Eternel, tantôt en jurant par Malcom;

Y á los que se inclinan sobre los terrados al ejército del cielo; y á los que se inclinan jurando por Jehová y jurando por su rey;

And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;

those who worship the army of the sky on the housetops, those who worship and swear by the LORD and also swear by Malcam,

en outre, ceux qui se sont détournés de l'Eternel, qui ne se mettent pas en quête de lui et ne le consultent pas.

Y á los que tornan atrás de en pos de Jehová; y á los que no buscaron á Jehová, ni preguntaron por él.

And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him.

those who have turned back from following the LORD, and those who haven’t sought the LORD nor inquired after him.

Qu'on fasse silence devant le Seigneur Dieu! Car il est proche, le jour de l'Eternel, car l'Eternel a préparé une hécatombe, il a désigné ses invités!

Calla en la presencia del Señor Jehová, porque el día de Jehová está cercano; porque Jehová ha aparejado sacrificio, prevenido ha sus convidados.

Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

Be silent at the presence of the Lord GOD, for the day of the LORD is at hand. For the LORD has prepared a sacrifice. He has consecrated his guests.

Au jour de l'hécatombe de l'Eternel, je sévirai contre les grands et les princes royaux, contre tous ceux qui endossent des vêtements étrangers.

Y será que en el día del sacrificio de Jehová, haré visitación sobre los príncipes, y sobre los hijos del rey, y sobre todos los que visten vestido extranjero.

And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.

It will happen in the day of the LORD’s sacrifice that I will punish the princes, the king’s sons, and all those who are clothed with foreign clothing.

Je sévirai, en ce même jour, contre ceux qui sautent par-dessus le seuil †des temples, et remplissent la maison de leur Maître de rapines et de fraude.

Asimismo haré visitación en aquel día sobre todos los que saltan la puerta, los que hinchen de robo y de engaño las casas de sus señores.

In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters’ houses with violence and deceit.

In that day, I will punish all those who leap over the threshold, who fill their master’s house with violence and deceit.

Il y aura ce jour-là, dit l'Eternel, des cris retentissants du côté de la porte aux Poissons, des hurlements du côté du Deuxième district et un grand fracas du côté des collines.

Y habrá en aquel día, dice Jehová, voz de clamor desde la puerta del pescado, y aullido desde la segunda, y grande quebrantamiento desde los collados.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.

In that day, says the LORD, there will be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, a wailing from the second quarter, and a great crashing from the hills.

Lamentez-vous, habitants du Makhtêch, car c'en est fait de toute cette population de marchands, ils sont perdus, tous †ces gens chargés d'argent.

Aullad, moradores de Mactes, porque todo el pueblo mercader es destruído; talados son todos los que traían dinero.

Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.

Wail, you inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the people of Canaan are undone! All those who were loaded with silver are cut off.

En ce temps-là, j'inspecterai Jérusalem avec des lampes, et je frapperai tous ces hommes qui demeurent accroupis sur leur lie, disant en leur cœur: "L'Eternel ne peut faire du bien ni causer de dommage."

Y será en aquel tiempo, que yo escudriñaré á Jerusalem con candiles, y haré visitación sobre los hombres que están sentados sobre sus heces, los cuales dicen en su corazón: Jehová ni hará bien ni mal.

And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.

It will happen at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart, “The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.”

Leurs richesses seront mises au pillage, leurs demeures ruinées. Ils bâtiront des maisons qu'ils n'habiteront point, planteront des vignes dont ils ne boiront pas le vin.

Será por tanto saqueada su hacienda, y sus casas asoladas: y edificarán casas, mas no las habitarán; y plantarán viñas, mas no beberán el vino de ellas.

Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.

Their wealth will become a plunder, and their houses a desolation. Yes, they will build houses, but won’t inhabit them. They will plant vineyards, but won’t drink their wine.

Il est proche, le grand jour de l'Eternel! II est proche et vient avec une extrême vitesse. Déjà on entend le bruit du jour de l'Eternel, c'est alors que le guerrier poussera des cris stridents.

Cercano está el día grande de Jehová, cercano y muy presuroso; voz amarga del día de Jehová; gritará allí el valiente.

The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

Ce jour sera un jour de colère, un jour de détresse et d'angoisse, un jour de ruine et de dévastation, un jour d'obscurité et de profondes ténèbres, un jour de nuages et de brume épaisse;

Día de ira aquel día, día de angustia y de aprieto, día de alboroto y de asolamiento, día de tiniebla y de oscuridad, día de nublado y de entenebrecimiento,

That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

un jour de trompette et de fanfare guerrière contre les villes fortes et les tours élevées.

Día de trompeta y de algazara, sobre las ciudades fuertes, y sobre las altas torres.

A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

Je serrerai de près les hommes, ils marcheront comme des aveugles, pour avoir péché contre l'Eternel. Leur sang sera répandu comme la poussière, leur sève comme des ordures.

Y atribularé los hombres, y andarán como ciegos, porque pecaron contra Jehová: y la sangre de ellos será derramada como polvo, y su carne como estiércol.

And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

Ni leur argent, ni leur or ne pourront les sauver au jour de la colère de l'Eternel; tout ce pays sera consumé par le feu de son indignation, car il amènera la ruine totale, la perte soudaine de tous les habitants du pays."

Ni su plata ni su oro podrá librarlos en el día de la ira de Jehová; pues toda la tierra será consumida con el fuego de su celo: porque ciertamente consumación apresurada hará con todos los moradores de la tierra.

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’s wrath, but the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy; for he will make an end, yes, a terrible end, of all those who dwell in the land.
