Rentrez en vous-mêmes, examinez-vous, Nation sans pudeur,

CONGREGAOS y meditad, gente no amable,

Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;

Avant que le décret s’exécute Et que ce jour passe comme la balle, Avant que la colère ardente de l’Éternel fonde sur vous, Avant que le jour de la colère de l’Éternel fonde sur vous!

Antes que pára el decreto, y el día se pase como el tamo; antes que venga sobre vosotros el furor de la ira de Jehová, antes que el día de la ira de Jehová venga sobre vosotros.

Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD’s anger come upon you.

Cherchez l’Éternel, vous tous, humbles du pays, Qui pratiquez ses ordonnances! Recherchez la justice, recherchez l’humilité! Peut-être serez-vous épargnés au jour de la colère de l’Éternel.

Buscad á Jehová todos los humildes de la tierra, que pusisteis en obra su juicio; buscad justicia, buscad mansedumbre: quizás seréis guardados en el día del enojo de Jehová.

Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’s anger.

Malheur aux habitants des côtes de la mer, à la nation des Kéréthiens! L’Éternel a parlé contre toi, Canaan, pays des Philistins! Je te détruirai, tu n’auras plus d’habitants.

¡Ay de los que moran á la parte de la mar, de la gente de Cheretim! La palabra de Jehová es contra vosotros, oh Canaán, tierra de Palestinos, que te haré destruir hasta no quedar morador.

Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.

Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.

L’Éternel sera terrible contre eux, Car il anéantira tous les dieux de la terre; Et chacun se prosternera devant lui dans son pays, Dans toutes les îles des nations.

Terrible será Jehová contra ellos, porque enervará á todos los dioses de la tierra; y cada uno desde su lugar se inclinará á él, todas las islas de las gentes.

The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.

And flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in the upper lintels of it; their voice shall sing in the windows; desolation shall be in the thresholds: for he shall uncover the cedar work.
