Es sollen am Meer hinab eitel Hirtenhäuser und Schafhürden sein.

CONGREGAOS y meditad, gente no amable,

Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;

Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, you nation that has no shame,

Und dasselbe soll den übrigen vom Hause Juda zuteil werden, daß sie darauf weiden sollen. Des Abends sollen sie sich in den Häusern Askalons lagern, wenn sie nun der HERR, ihr Gott, wiederum heimgesucht und ihr Gefängnis gewendet hat.

Antes que pára el decreto, y el día se pase como el tamo; antes que venga sobre vosotros el furor de la ira de Jehová, antes que el día de la ira de Jehová venga sobre vosotros.

Ich habe die Schmach Moabs und das Lästern der Kinder Ammon gehöret, damit sie mein Volk geschmähet und auf desselbigen Grenzen sich gerühmet haben.

Buscad á Jehová todos los humildes de la tierra, que pusisteis en obra su juicio; buscad justicia, buscad mansedumbre: quizás seréis guardados en el día del enojo de Jehová.

Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’s anger.

Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the LORD’s anger.

Wohlan, so wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Moab soll wie Sodom und die Kinder Ammon wie Gomorrha werden, ja, wie ein Nesselstrauch und Salzgrube und eine ewige Wüstnis. Die übrigen meines Volks sollen sie rauben und die Überbliebenen meines Volks sollen sie erben.

Porque Gaza será desamparada, y Ascalón asolada: saquearán á Asdod en el medio día, y Ecrón será desarraigada.

For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.

Das soll ihnen begegnen für ihre Hoffart, daß sie des HERRN Zebaoth Volk geschmähet und sich gerühmet haben.

¡Ay de los que moran á la parte de la mar, de la gente de Cheretim! La palabra de Jehová es contra vosotros, oh Canaán, tierra de Palestinos, que te haré destruir hasta no quedar morador.

Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.

Schrecklich wird der HERR über sie sein; denn er wird alle Götter auf Erden vertilgen. Und sollen ihn anbeten alle Inseln unter den Heiden, ein jeglicher an seinem Ort.

Y será la parte de la mar por moradas de cabañas de pastores, y corrales de ovejas.

And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks.

Auch sollt ihr Mohren durch mein Schwert erschlagen werden.

Y será aquella parte para el resto de la casa de Judá; allí apacentarán: en las casas de Ascalón dormirán á la noche; porque Jehová su Dios los visitará, y tornará sus cautivos.

And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.

The coast will be for the remnant of the house of Judah. They will find pasture. In the houses of Ashkelon, they will lie down in the evening, for the LORD, their God, will visit them and restore them.

Und er wird seine Hand strecken über Mitternacht und Assur umbringen. Ninive wird er öde machen, dürr wie eine Wüste,

Yo he oído las afrentas de Moab, y los denuestos de los hijos de Ammón con que deshonraron á mi pueblo, y se engrandecieron sobre su término.

daß drinnen sich lagern werden allerlei Tiere unter den Heiden; auch Rohrdommeln und Igel werden wohnen auf ihren Türmen und werden in den Fenstern singen und die Raben auf den Balken; denn die Zedernbretter sollen abgerissen werden.

Por tanto, vivo yo, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, que Moab será como Sodoma, y los hijos de Ammón como Gomorra; campo de ortigas, y mina de sal, y asolamiento perpetuo: el resto de mi pueblo los saqueará, y el resto de mi gente los heredará.

Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.

Das ist die fröhliche Stadt, die so sicher wohnete und sprach in ihrem Herzen: Ich bin's, und keine mehr! Wie ist sie so wüst worden, daß die Tiere drinnen wohnen! Und wer vorübergehet, pfeifet sie an und klappet mit der Hand über sie.

This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts.

Wehe der scheußlichen, unflätigen, tyrannischen Stadt!

Terrible será Jehová contra ellos, porque enervará á todos los dioses de la tierra; y cada uno desde su lugar se inclinará á él, todas las islas de las gentes.

The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.

The LORD will be awesome to them, for he will famish all the gods of the land. Men will worship him, everyone from his place, even all the shores of the nations.

Sie will nicht gehorchen noch sich züchtigen lassen; sie will auf den HERRN nicht trauen noch sich zu ihrem Gott halten.

Vosotros también los de Etiopía seréis muertos con mi espada.

Ihre Fürsten sind unter ihnen brüllende Löwen und ihre Richter Wölfe am Abend, die nichts lassen bis auf den Morgen überbleiben.

Ihre Propheten sind leichtfertig und Verächter. Ihre Priester entweihen das Heiligtum und deuten das Gesetz freventlich.

Y rebaños de ganado harán en ella majada, todas las bestias de las gentes; el onocrótalo también y el erizo dormirán en sus umbrales: su voz cantará en las ventanas; asolación será en las puertas, porque su enmaderamiento de cedro será descubierto.

And flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in the upper lintels of it; their voice shall sing in the windows; desolation shall be in the thresholds: for he shall uncover the cedar work.

Herds will lie down in the middle of her, all kinds of animals. Both the pelican and the porcupine will lodge in its capitals. Their calls will echo through the windows. Desolation will be in the thresholds, for he has laid bare the cedar beams.

Aber der HERR, der unter ihnen ist, lehret wohl recht und tut kein Arges. Er läßt alle Morgen seine Rechte öffentlich lehren und läßt nicht ab; aber die bösen Leute wollen sich nicht schämen lernen.

Esta es la ciudad alegre que estaba confiada, la que decía en su corazón: Yo, y no más. ¡Cómo fué en asolamiento, en cama de bestias! Cualquiera que pasare junto á ella silbará, meneará su mano.

This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.

This is the joyous city that lived carelessly, that said in her heart, “I am, and there is no one besides me.” How she has become a desolation, a place for animals to lie down in! Everyone who passes by her will hiss and shake their fists.
