Dije: ‘Ciertamente me temerás y aceptarás mi corrección’, para que no fuera destruida su casa conforme a todo lo que yo había ordenado. Pero ellos se apresuraron a corromper todas sus acciones.
Dije: Ciertamente me temerás, recibirás corrección; y no será su habitación derruída por todo aquello sobre que los visité. Mas ellos se levantaron de mañana, y corrompieron todas sus obras.
I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings.
