19Entonces, ¿cuál era el propósito de la ley? Fue añadida por causa de los pecados, hasta que llegara la descendencia a quien se le había hecho la promesa. La ley fue promulgada por medio de ángeles y entregada por un mediador.

19¿Pues de qué sirve la ley? Fué puesta por causa de las rebeliones, hasta que viniese la simiente á quien fué hecha la promesa, ordenada aquélla por los ángeles en la mano de un mediador.

19Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

19Then why is there the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.
