¿Hasta cuándo angustiaréis mi alma, y me moleréis con palabras?
How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
“How long will you torment me, and crush me with words?
Merket doch einst, daß mir Gott unrecht tut und hat mich mit seinem Jagestrick umgeben.
Ya me habéis vituperado diez veces: ¿no os avergonzáis de descomediros delante de mí?
These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me.
You have reproached me ten times. You aren’t ashamed that you attack me.
Siehe, ob ich schon schreie über Frevel, so werde ich doch nicht erhöret; ich rufe, und ist kein Recht da.
Sea así que realmente haya yo errado, conmigo se quedará mi yerro.
And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
If it is true that I have erred, my error remains with myself.
Er hat meinen Weg verzäunet, daß ich nicht kann hinübergehen, und hat Finsternis auf meinen Steig gestellet.

Sabed ahora que Dios me ha trastornado, y traído en derredor su red sobre mí.

Er hat mich zerbrochen um und um und läßt mich gehen, und hat ausgerissen meine Hoffnung wie einen Baum.

Sein Zorn ist über mich ergrimmet, und er achtet mich für seinen Feind.

Seine Kriegsleute sind miteinander kommen und haben ihren Weg über mich gepflastert und haben sich um meine Hütte her gelagert.

Er hat meine Brüder ferne von mir getan, und meine Verwandten sind mir fremd worden.

Meine Nächsten haben sich entzogen, und meine Freunde haben mein vergessen.
E hizo inflamar contra mí su furor, y contóme para sí entre sus enemigos.

Meine Hausgenossen und meine Mägde achten mich für fremd, ich bin unbekannt worden vor ihren Augen.
Vinieron sus ejércitos á una, y trillaron sobre mí su camino, y asentaron campo en derredor de mi tienda.
His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.

Ach, daß meine Reden geschrieben würden! Ach, daß sie in ein Buch gestellet würden,

My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.

mit einem eisernen Griffel auf Blei und zu ewigem Gedächtnis in einen Fels gehauen würden!

und werde danach mit dieser meiner Haut umgeben werden und werde in meinem Fleisch Gott sehen.
¡Quién diese ahora que mis palabras fuesen escritas! ¡quién diese que se escribieran en un libro!

Denselben werde ich mir sehen, und meine Augen werden ihn schauen, und kein Fremder. Meine Nieren sind verzehret in meinem Schoß.
¡Que con cincel de hierro y con plomo fuesen en piedra esculpidas para siempre!
That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
That with an iron pen and lead they were engraved in the rock forever!
Denn ihr sprechet: Wie wollen wir ihn verfolgen und eine Sache zu ihm finden?
Yo sé que mi Redentor vive, y al fin se levantará sobre el polvo:
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives. In the end, he will stand upon the earth.
Fürchtet euch vor dem Schwert; denn das Schwert ist der Zorn über die Missetat, auf daß ihr wisset, daß ein Gericht sei.
Y después de deshecha esta mi piel, aun he de ver en mi carne á Dios;
And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Da antwortete Zophar von Naema und sprach:
Al cual yo tengo de ver por mí, y mis ojos lo verán, y no otro, aunque mis riñones se consuman dentro de mí.
Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
whom I, even I, will see on my side. My eyes will see, and not as a stranger. “My heart is consumed within me.
Darauf muß ich antworten und kann nicht harren.
Mas debierais decir: ¿Por qué lo perseguimos? ya que la raíz del negocio en mí se halla.
But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
If you say, ‘How we will persecute him!’ because the root of the matter is found in me,
Und will gerne hören, wer mir das soll strafen und tadeln; denn der Geist meines Verstandes soll für mich antworten.
Temed vosotros delante de la espada; porque sobreviene el furor de la espada á causa de las injusticias, para que sepáis que hay un juicio.
Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
