Von meiner Gerechtigkeit, die ich habe, will ich nicht lassen; mein Gewissen beißt mich nicht meines ganzen Lebens halber.
Que todo el tiempo que mi alma estuviere en mí, y hubiere hálito de Dios en mis narices,
All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;
(for the length of my life is still in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils);
Aber mein Feind wird erfunden werden ein Gottloser, und der sich wider mich auflehnet, ein Ungerechter.
Mis labios no hablarán iniquidad, ni mi lengua pronunciará engaño.
My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

Denn was ist die Hoffnung des Heuchlers, daß er so geizig ist, und Gott doch seine Seele hinreißet?
Nunca tal acontezca que yo os justifique: hasta morir no quitaré de mí mi integridad.
God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.
Far be it from me that I should justify you. Until I die I will not put away my integrity from me.
Meinest du, daß Gott sein Schreien hören wird, wenn die Angst über ihn kommt?
Mi justicia tengo asida, y no la cederé: no me reprochará mi corazón en el tiempo de mi vida.
My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

Wie kann er an dem Allmächtigen Lust haben und Gott etwa anrufen?
Sea como el impío mi enemigo, y como el inicuo mi adversario.
Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.

Ich will euch lehren von der Hand Gottes; und was bei dem Allmächtigen gilt, will ich nicht verhehlen.
Porque ¿cuál es la esperanza del hipócrita, por mucho que hubiere robado, cuando Dios arrebatare su alma?
For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?
For what is the hope of the godless, when he is cut off, when God takes away his life?
Siehe, ihr haltet euch alle für klug. Warum gebt ihr denn solch unnütze Dinge vor?
¿Oirá Dios su clamor cuando la tribulación sobre él viniere?
Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?

Das ist der Lohn eines gottlosen Menschen bei Gott und das Erbe der Tyrannen, das sie von dem Allmächtigen nehmen werden.
¿Deleitaráse en el Omnipotente? ¿invocará á Dios en todo tiempo?
Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?
Will he delight himself in the Almighty, and call on God at all times?
Wird er viel Kinder haben, so werden sie des Schwerts sein; und seine Nachkömmlinge werden des Brots nicht satt haben.
Yo os enseñaré en orden á la mano de Dios: no esconderé lo que hay para con el Omnipotente.
I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.

If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

Er bauet sein Haus wie eine Spinne, und wie ein Hüter einen Schauer machet.
Los que le quedaren, en muerte serán sepultados; y no llorarán sus viudas.

Er wird solches über ihn führen und wird sein nicht schonen; es wird ihm alles aus seinen Händen entfliehen.

The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.

Man wird über ihn mit den Händen klappen und über ihn zischen, da er gewesen ist.
Asirán de él terrores como aguas: torbellino lo arrebatará de noche.
Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.

Es hat das Silber seine Gänge und das Gold seinen Ort, da man es schmelzt.
