Am Morgen blüht (grünt) es und sprosst auf (blüht), zum Abend verwelkt und verdorrt (vertrocknet) es.
En la mañana florece y crece; á la tarde es cortada, y se seca.

Du stellst (hast gestellt) unsere Fehler (Missetaten, Ungerechtigkeiten) vor dich, unsere Geheimnisse (verborgenen Dinge; was wir verborgen haben) vor das Licht deiner Gegenwart (deines Gesichts).
Pusiste nuestras maldades delante de ti, nuestros yerros á la luz de tu rostro.

Ja (denn), alle unsere Tage fahren dahin (verschwinden)(sind dahingefahren) durch deinen Zorn (Grimm), wir vollenden (haben vollendet) unsere Jahre wie einen Seufzer (Stöhnen).
Porque todos nuestros días declinan á causa de tu ira; acabamos nuestros años como un pensamiento.
For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.

Darum (also, so) lehre uns, unsere Tage zu zählen, damit (dann, und) wir ein Herz der Weisheit (weises Herz) bekommen (erlangen, gewinnen).
